This looks a little better than a N64 game. The shadow's a circle, the character model is blocky, and the color palette looks bland. It animates well, I'll give it that, but this game has nothing on Chains of Olympus.
And he's already made every Halo weapon and mimicked all the reload animations?

Shane Bettenhausen, the author of the article (and EGM article) doesn't normally play shooters. He isn't a shooter guy. I'm suprised 1UP/EGM sent him to preview the game. If you're going to give a preview, ask someone who knows the genre to do it.
It IS a little know fact that he "kinda" likes the PS3 more than some of his coworkers, which is cool. At least they sent a fan to preview it.
Does this mean there might be a few bugs for the PS3 release, assuming Sony didn't check or couldn't find the bugs?

I mean honestly, how many music games can you have. I haven't bought a single music/rhythm game because every version is going to get even better, and I'll just wait it out until there's just as many Guitar Heroes and Rock Bands as Dance Dance Revolution.

I second the notion that it's probably going to be the DS Title, 358/2 Days. Though really, anything could happen.
Even though excited for this title, I refuse to buy Qore. It's bullshit. I like my PS3 primarily because I get lots of free stuff, and Qore is just a direct contrast to the that principle. Personally, it's one of the worst thing's Sony could have done.
And add a more realistic looking world and characters. I loved the Tales games, but the celshaded look doesn't appeal to me anymore in Vesperia or Symphonia 2.
If they did, that'd be pretty cool. If they didn't they should. More games need demos, often because previews/reviews don't always give the reader a good feeling of the game.
