Yes! These "protected" saves to stop us using someone elses save file to get trophies is nothing but a pain in the rear end. It causes major headache if your old PS3 YLOD and you try to get the saves over to your new one >.>. I know they kind of fixed it with PS+ Cloud Saves but IMO that really should be free to everyone, given how much of a nuisance it is without it...
Totally agree. Before trophies I never really tried anything in games other than blasting through them on easiest settings. Now I only ever play games on hard, only ever go for gold medals, always try to unlock as much as I can...

Its been re made before though for GameCube, and it looked fantastic even on that. If they are going to remake any, it has to be the original Metal Gears from the ... NSX I believe it was called?

But no matter how good the campaign is, they have to nail the Online mode above all else.

Not when your target audience is teenagers. Which arguably it is, I mean sure the games are rated 15/18 but there is loads of kids on COD and I doubt they are unaware of that.

Yeah but seriously, I think they will have a lot of focus on the NGP this year, with it coming out November and all. A proper date and pricing for that I would imagine? Launch games as well as in the works ones, that kind of stuff.

You know what, I do not really agree as such but I can definitely see where you are coming from. Most loyal and regular PS3 owners and players will have the stuff that is available, and most likely have PS+ as well. But it is very difficult to find a way to please everyone though...
Also they are not really going for a causal market, as the article says, it is just that people of all ages need to be able to enjoy the content.

Personally I would have preferred some free movie rentals ^_* though I dont think the video store is up everywhere. And the reason for that is because then there is a lot of choice, instead of having to choose a few games.
But ya know this is the definition of the phrase "beggars cant be choosers" they can be whiners but not choosers.
Ratchet and Clank games are great fun, I should point out though that Q4B is a short downloadable chapter, no more than a few hours + in length and does not have trophies but for free or even at discount it is a steal (literally in this case).
Going for WiEout HD and Dead Nation here, as well as LittleBigPlanet for my PSP ^^
