I was happy to see that you dont need to buy mics, though, you can use an Eye or any headset even. But yeah they give you like six demo tracks (cut to about a minute each), so I guess its just trying to cash in on some DLC sale....
Not sure what to make of it, its nice of them to give us the game but im not going to use it... I dont like to use this word, but it really is "meh"

Does it show the IDS now? It just said P1, 2 , 3 or 4 in the private beta. Glad it actually does show the names now though.
I am noticing slight upgrades to the sound and visuals in general.
They took a turn for the worst this gen. I was dead cert on buying a ps2 after the ps1, and a ps3 after the ps2...
This time I'm not a "lets wait and see what they bring" kind of mentality. Software has been phenomenal, it's hardware and apps compatibility that have been questionable to say the least.
Also SCEE have been a bit of a pain too which is not great since I live in the UK.
Lol I doubt nex gen consoles will even be out at least until Nov 2013 ( personally I see them launching in 2014 though)
Yeah I noticed that. I didnt think it was too much of a problem at first until I noticed that things are expensive relative to how much you earn on the game...
Its not great, the camera issues are more apparent than ever, square (or X) is used for too many things meaning sometimes you will start a spin dash instead of a light ring dash (Honestly, its used for a somersault, spin dash, actions, a bounce attack and more...
And not all of the scenes have been remastered, meaning some of them are in stretch Standard Defintion and look awful.
Its still a lot of fun though, the chao garden can still eat up time too and col...

Yeah, it was probably one of the worst stories I have experienced in anything for a while. I mean games like COD may be predicable with their stories but at least they make some kind of sense. Still, I never really did expect that the plot was the main selling point of DOA games =P, and other than the plot it was a decent game I thought.
Really? Its only if you pre order it at certain retailers. He has played in celebrity games,and there is a team in the game made up of celebrities who have played before, he happens to be in that team along with some others (I know I saw they had one of the guys off Jersey Shore too). The only crap thing is their ratings are too high, as in higher than a lot of pro teams on the game lol
Not surprised, seriously unless you spend a good bit of time with this series you will never be able to appreciate just how good it actually is. Its not like your normal "casual sports game" they really have mastered the sports genre, I mean they made EA scrap Live 13. You know you are doing something right when EA dont even want to attempt to compete.

Dude if you think there are too many shooters on PS3 then its because you are purposely only playing shooters - you will find great titles in all genres on PS3 if you look. Journey could well be GotY and all you do is walk forwards and glide a bit...
The people who say 3D is a gimmick have clearly never played a game that does 3D well on a 3DTV. Basically, to be blunt - its people who can not afford it.

Yeah but to be fair its a pretty long game and they are remaking everything from the ground up. Its not like a normal HD upgrade, it looks like an entirely new game.
I mean did you see the footage at the end of the video? It looks good even if you disregard that it is a remake.
That still does not change the fact that this one didn't either. Is it okay that Sony / MM just shrug it off and say "Meh, that is to be expected, our games never sold well there."
To be fair I imagine that their new IP on the Vita will be more popular in Japan.
Yes I agree the expense hole of owning a Vita is what made me sell mine, and that was just before LBP released too!
I love Sony and the PS3, but the Vita is just a weird console. Not only does it have some odd design choices and stupid proprietary crap all over it. The games choices are 1)way too expensive, even with cross buy announced and 2) seem to have been chosen by somebody who has no idea of the concept of portable gaming.
