Console generations are getting longer and longer, so why would Nintendo release a completely new device that is essentially the same console? Like I said before, Switch is still currently selling by the bucket load.

God knows why anyone thought that the switch would get improved specs, they are still selling like hotcakes. 99% of people on here don't have any business sense...at all.
Also, DLSS could be coming to the switch as the Tegra chip might get a revision, that would help performance wise quite a lot.
Such a shame since Tekken is the ultimate fighting game in my opinion, Street Fighter mixed into it was really intriguing idea. Oh well.
ha, yeah I had it built into my master system too but I never got too far into it. I was only like 5 years old at the time. I think it was my mum who discovered the game was built in after reading the manual at some point regarding something....that was like half a year after we got the system lmao

Yikes, just because most console gamers are spoilt with the offerings that Microsoft and Sony give them (really cheap hardware, throwing free games at you with their online services etc), they see this as a bad alternative because you have to pay full price for games. Thats all this hate is based around. If not please explain. If anyone is gonna mention broken promises, I'm sure I can google around and find a whole list of broken promises from Sony and MS, so yeah, think first.

I must admit $60 is a bit steep considering they arent amping up the graphics etc all that much.
But the argument that Super Mario World 3D+Bowsers Fury is comparable is weird since its almost 2 games in one.
Silly gamers...MS are just offering different versions of its consoles, so what? Most of you seem to fail to realise that they are trying to earn money, just like any other company in every other market. Its called "Business".
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if MS have better profit margins with the S series compared to the X series.
Buy the console you want, STFU and get gaming.
my thoughts exacty, I dont think gen4 PCIE really benefits GPUs just yet. I thought its more to do with allowing more devices to have direct CPU access without bottlenecking (NVMEs, 10gbp Networking etc)

Yeah great, you end up with a controller that doesn't hold its charge anymore after say 2 years. Awesome.
NVMe's have been around on PCs for a while now, so why is it just NOW when the consoles have this tech...its suddenly a game changer?? Yes they have great read speeds...but what else does a data storage medium do? Just read and write data, end of.
And to be perfectly honest, regarding all this "game changing" bla bla, its all down to the Developers. Just because the console is great, doesn't mean the software will be. Its up to them to decrease/better hi...
I can already play all of my PC games via streaming using my android phone, laptop or raspberry pi using Local Lan or even VPN over the internet. Google a software called "moonlight"...get with the times :P

I think we can all agree that certain Franchises just have that quality about them somehow, we just know the next one will be amazing too purely based on their History...Mario, Super Smash Bros, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto etc...Zelda is just one of them Franchises, so suck it up :P

Why are so many of you certain there will be extra lag? I use an open source game streaming service which allows me to play my PC games via 4G while I am out and about, this is using no fancy servers just my actual upload speed from my home internet, and it works great 90% of the time. Now using Googles infrastructure...this could be impressive.
And I play games like Geometry Wars, Tekken 7 etc using this, where you need cat like reflexes to stay in the game.

GTA III had a cool one where you had to kill off this guy in a complete body cast who was being driven around in an ambulance...I remember blasting him with the rocket launcher for ages. He was tough bugger haha
Loads of people kept going on about who owned it when it came out on PS4 etc. Also mentioning it was on PS3, Switch etc but not one mentioning of it being on PC. Which is where it all started. I found that rather amusing.

"Pro"...ha...Sony 9;s marketing got you good! Its only just a bit better then the original PS4 if you look at the resolutions being posted about the games. Most games aren't nowhere native 4K, except for Indy titles and maybe handful of actual PS4 titles. Do some research instead of gobbling up what you're told.
I don't recall PS4 Pro having any more advanced graphic features to improve lighting etc. Slighty sharper image..yay.
