That "Special Style" mentioned just makes me think it will be wayyyy too easy to pull of stupidly long juggles. This is gonna get spammed online :/
Theres plenty of Android based handheld systems being released these days for similar price but have bluetooth and allow you to emulate retro games etc too. Ayn Odin comes to mind. Odin2 is out soon too which starts at $299 and can emulate upto ps2/gc era very easily and also stuff like 3ds and the switch
Sony should of made their own version of the razor kishi and released an app that only works with that for some exclusivity. Muppets.
Insomniac just basically copied the formula from PS2 version of Spider-man 2. Everything was jacked up to 11 but yeah the basic formula was already there.
To be fair, consoles do hold back PCs
Well, thats what happens when developers have to focus on the weaker hardware and sadly more popular hardware. This isnt the first game to have this issue and wont be the last from what ive seen.
Do you really think the PS5 version is equivalent to the PC max settings one? I highly doubt it. What resolution is the PS5 version running at as well? Im genuinely curious. 1080p? 1440p? If its only 1080p then damn...Sony has been marketing their consoles at 1080p for well over a...
LOL...so you guys have 60 or 30 fps modes available for this game and everyone is proclaiming how great the PS5 is. Hilarious :D
Oh sorry...nearly 60 fps! LMAO
Too true, that's why Sony and Microsoft have to sell at a loss for the first couple of years since most wouldn't be able to afford their console. People want more for less.
They make great games. Isn't that what's important for consoles?
In regards to the Steamdeck, its marketed as being able to play AAA games...yeah in 720p and with FSR enabled which allows you to play at just about 30 fps. It will be obsolete in a years time. Awesome lol
At least in 3 you had to wind up your shots, it was more skill based as opposed to 4 where you just held down L1 or R1 whilst flicking the analogue stick.
Agreed, i played FNR 3 the most on Xbox 360 back in the day and using the analogue sticks to kinda mimic punches thrown was fun af. FNR 4 ruined it by just flicking the analogue stick to throw hooks, felt really unintuitive after the previous games.
Steam Deck can just about play triple A games. I reckon it will struggle at 720p with fsr
I'm currently playing it right now on my phone whilst I'm visiting in India. It's still a sick game!
Tbh I'm skipping all the story/dialogue...I'm more interested in getting great weapons/accessories via stealing and collecting enemy skills, i never bothered with them back in the day
8K doesn't rely on system RAM on PC, it comes down to how much RAM the GPU has. Consoles use shared system RAM (which is funnily enough the same type of RAM, GDDR6, as used by PC GPUs) since consoles just use an APU.
Being overkill on RAM is hardly the norm to be honest. I only upgraded from 8gb to 16gb last year and the only reason I will go with 32gb RAM next time is because I want to dabble with Proxmox and run virtual machines.
No PC game should be needing 32gb RAM at the moment, it just seems like a bad/lazy port to me.
Pretty impressive for a Ryzen 2 APU
@ Eonjay
Hardware makes no difference if the software is not optimized for the platform. Look at Elden Rings when it came out on PC, it had FPS issues that were non existent on PS5.
In regards to the "Devs vision", they are just giving what most of the gamer base wants. Devs have always felt that pressure from gamers, thats why console in the last 15 years or so have struggled with promised resolution at 60fps. Everyone wants the prettiest of games, even in the PS3/X360 era games struggled to hit 1080p, even though they were marketed as running those resolutions. I think the PS4 pro was the first one to hit 1080/60 reliably, but gamers at that point wanted 4k, ...
Lol, well, if all the big devs make their own engines who would be using/buying the UE 5 engine then? Think about it...
Also, UE 5 is ideal for indie devs as they can just jump straight into making the game. Time is money.
Well at least the graphics have improved over the years since the Gameboy days but the core game is more or less the same since then, thats the bigger issue I think. Too conservative.
People will overlook mediocre graphics for awesome gameplay, since theyre so distracted with having fun.
60 FPS? Is that it? Some "pro" console...
