It's a serious choice to make. I think I will be getting Borderlands for the same reason, but I've been waiting for Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition since they announced it. All that juicy DLC that I didn't get to try before! (PS3)
I'm started to get a little annoyed that people are criticizing Fallout 3 for its pacing. Has anyone ever played a Fallout game before? That's how the series is. As a PS3 owner, I honestly have to say that I respect / understand the way that UBI stated "link of heart between game and console". There are just some games that I feel belong to one console or another. I don't see Gears on the PS3 or God of War on the 360. Just doesn't feel 'right'.
Haha that's how I had felt about Final Fantasy, honestly, and probably why most people were so shocked by E3 and FFXIII.
*Points to title* Man, inFamous is just so good. Just listening to the first discussion about the game made me want to just stop reading and go fire the game up again. I had so much fun with the game, I played it over the moment I finished it, getting my first Platinum. Great times. one of my favorite games this gen.

I think everyone has put it so well. If you haven't bought FVII off PSN, I highly recommend that you do. The game is simply amazing. The graphics are definitely dated, but the music is fantastic, as is the story and characters. I feel that anyone who likes rpgs will be highly rewarded if they can just get back that initial 'shock' of the dated graphics. Truly a masterpiece and one of (I think it is THE) greatest games of all time.
The points the author makes about a full-HD remake of the game are actually pretty sound (although nothing, NOTHING, and I do mean N-O-T-H-I-N-G will ever be as painful as the laugh scene in FFX)... I feel like some scenes and parts would just be utterly bizarre in a complete remake. And this is from a man who considers himself the biggest FFVII fan...

Yeah, I completely agree with you Avenged. Except, I'm one of those PS3 boys that bought the game. I was so hyped for the game, and too paranoid to read too many previews, that I had no idea that the DLC was exclusive until Op Anchorage came out. I think it's criminal that the game companies have to resort to exclusivity on products that are clearly MULTIPLATFORM. Why do I, a gamer, have to suffer for business tactics?

Do you guys think this will come with "Last Order", the anime featurette? If it doesn't, I'll be pretty upset. I enjoyed it on the collectors edition version of AC. If the AC:COMPLETE doesn't have it, I'd get a chuckle for a second, and be pissed for much longer. Did anyone hear anything about it? It's not listed in the article.
It's a fantastic game. I don't think that Borderlands will have that immersion factor or as much environmental depth, but just the same, I'm quite excited.
