That isn't how it works. It isn't competing with a PC and if that is their goal, then they will bomb.
Sure you can, my friend's budget PC I built for him around $450 uses a GTX 750ti and playing that game at custom settings that look similar to Xbox One @ 1080p runs at 30-45 fps. The 750ti is 1.3 Tflops roughly, although his is one of the best models of it being the EVGA one having a good OC.
No, I prefer framerate over resolution anyday. That is why I have a 120hz 1080p TV hooked to my PC.
People do not understand.
The 1080 already runs most games at 4k @ 40-45fps. I feel like the 1080ti will be 60fps.
If the card overclocks as well as they say, especially with one of the better AIB's, the card will give a 1070 a bit of a run for its money. I plan to buy one of the $300 versions just for that OC potential.
@MyDietEqualsGames
Only Sith deal in absolutes.
I have been trying to say this my past few comments. People, do not be surprised if most 4k games will only run at 30fps or be indie games. A GTX 1070 at 4k never meets 60fps in most larger games these past 2-3 years and that is around 6.5 TFlops, so I am giving it a bit more of an edge since consoles get better optimizations and my guess is it'll run around a 1070, although I feel like the CPU will bottleneck a bit since they cannot have a processor at a too high of a clock-speed without...
I always thought a console like this would really separate the playerbase in one way or another. The statement I have said before about framerate being increased on this new console is a massive issue to me.
I agree, it splits userbase to some extent.
Exactly why I used a 1070 as an example. Has some extra juice to help round off extra optimization.
Hope people know not to get their hopes up with 4k. Some game will run it, but most cannot at 60 frames. Watch GTX 1080 benchmarks and see that even that card cannot run games at 60 frames and that is a lot more powerful than the Scorpio. The 1070 which is around 6.5 TFlops, around the Scorpio's 6, runs even worse. 2k and 1080p will almost always be pretty steady though.
Maybe. I don't plan to buy it simply cause Halo has been dead for years too me.
Or you can grab a PS4/PC combo.
Or you can get a good 1080p tv for a fraction of the cost.
Doesn't surprise me. It isn't uncommon for a slim version to have slight Overclocks to help with games.
I could tell almost immediately and I agree, it looks interesting.
I will only buy it if the MP is great and the story has more depth unlike the past several games. Just because it looked cool, and actiony doesn't mean it will be good.
I realized it was CoD almost immediately. Still looks good. Still only want CoD4 though.
@Tobsesan
Being closed won't help as much as people think. They would have to run most game at comparable medium settings on PC to get it to actually run 4k 60.
