What shows it being outdated? Graphics are really great and if you think the stylization = bad graphics, then you are biased. We haven't had a large, good, dedicated puzzle platform game in years and this one will be the first in awhile. SotC still has aspects that doesn't appear in games now and it has aged fantastically. Climbing moving, natural feeling giants is something I haven't seen in a game except for Dragon's Dogma, which isn't as in depth, and physics that actua...
Commercially doesn't really matter. I believe it well sell well and critically be like all their other games. 9s or so.
Game looks great. If it is even remotely similar to SotC or Ico, then it will be 8-10/10. Team Ico knows how to make art in digital game form and their games stand the trial of life. SotC is fantastic and one of the most artistically beautiful games ever made and have actually started replaying it again and it ages really well on an emulator (own 2 copies of the game PS3 and OG PS2 game so don't complain about emulation).
Looks like you don't appreciate art in video game form. What makes it bad? The fact that it is so different from almost any other game?
Edit: $10 if it succeeds because Team Ico really know how to make art.
$10 if it succeeds.
I am dead serious. Just stop and all the background objects look like crap and some other things just don't look that nice. Still looks great but not the best I have seen or played.
I really reallllyyy hope they keep this theme that war is hell. WWI held little glory and was just a bloody mess of a war and my jaw was dropped just from the theme this set. I am actually really excited for this.
So much hate for a statement. Why?
I agree to a point. 4k on standard TV's is fine as long as they're around 42+ inches, but any higher is almost unnoticeable. Personally, 2k is the best because the difference is difficult to tell from a 4k to a 2k monitor, but shows a noticeable difference from 1080p, while not killing the GPU. 1080p is fine for most people.
I don't think so. Once you stop the car, the game doesn't look very good. In motion it looks fantastic, but again, you stop it just doesn't look that great.
I really hope this will be the first Battlefield game with a great story. Most of the others are either mediocre or slightly above average, but this trailer really gives me hope. I also hope that it is decently lengthy and they remain with this gritty depressing tone.
I really don't get why people are agreeing when 90% of you probably never have played on PC for more than an hour.
It isn't though. It is a separate program installed into the game. A very popular anti-cheat program is PunkBuster and it is rather effective. You are calling me ignorant when it is true, it really is not that hard to implement one and I have never said it to be "exceptionally" easy. A large company though, can rather easily install a anti-cheat program. You linked me a dead link about a mediocre gaming engine that no large company will use. Oh, I am majoring in Computer Science...
I have no reason to lie. I have never seen it, but I don't actively participate in PVP, yet all of the invaders I have seen were not hacking from what I can tell.
Don't get the downvotes. Why exclude PC gamers?
I do and have and it really is uncommon now on 3 and I have yet to see one on it or Dark Souls 1.
Which are very few anyway. People act like it is a majority when it isn't.
I have yet to see a cheater on the hundreds of hours I have put on Dark Souls 1 and haven't seen one in Dark Souls 3 myself.
They really don't have much issue. Anti-cheat isn't too hard to implement. I have never experienced cheating on PC on any recent game and only dead/dying games really have cheaters. Consoles just look for excuse to bash PC's anymore. Looking at your downvotes really proves so, since your claims are facts.

720p and 1080p was a very noticable jump but 1080p to 4k isn't. Not on a tv about 40' or so. On a larger screen definitely. Only noticable thing is the masssiveee performance hit as it renders 6220800 pixels more from 1080 to 4k vs 1152000 pixels more from 720p to 1080p. Personally, I wish 2k tv's were a thing as the difference looks great from 1080p to 2k, while the perf hit isn't even close to as bad as 1080p to 4k.
