@opinionated
Then you hear wrong. A massive majority of games run great, if not better on PC.
But Steam sold more copies of GTAV than the Xbox One did. Piracy is a smaller issue than everyone on here thinks it is.
Not really. You have no idea what you are talking about. PC market is massive. GTAV sold more on Steam than the Xbox One.
Entitlement? People just want to play this game.
@generic
That is entitlement. I don't want to go out and spend money on one and I already have a PS4. But I only buy exclusives.
Maybe they hate money? 6+million sold on steam alone. Piracy isn't much of an issue as console fanboys want to say it is.
Not really. Consoles are already on a very similar architecture to full PC's. Hell, the Xbox One uses the Windows 10 core as an OS. This is just laziness.
@totallysane
Do you know how optimizations work on PC? because they don't work like that. OS is a big part of it for it to be compatible in the first place.
Sad you are getting dislikes Starchild. It is true. Expecting double or even triple dipping is immoral and anti-consumer. It is also true what you said on a comment up. A lot of console gamers are so anti-gaming and are overly loyal to their console of choice. All they do is hate.
Numbers say otherwise. Steam alone sold 6 million copies not including other means of buying the game, and Steam sells shark cards. Let's say steam takes 12% of the cut of $360,000,000. That is still $318,000,000 made from Steam alone. That is a helluva lot of money.
If GTA sold on PC along side of console, the number would probably be bigger as some people don't want to buy the same game twice or three times. I believe the choice is anti-consumer.
@nX
Sad you got so many up-votes for being kind of hateful. But millions care.
This is why I never take DarkLink seriously. Ever since that RIDICULOUS article, I couldn't take him serious.
Go look at a mirror in game and tell me there are no glitches.
Variety does not = repetition. repetition literally means the same over and over, and this game doesn't change shit up. If you simplify every mission to "kill this guy then proceed" then yeah, every game is the same repetitious crap, but it isn't.
Modern Warfare 3 was meh. WaW is second best to me, first being CoD4.
Well, story did fall off after 2, but the MP has always been great. Still willing to play the SP.
I really want this game. I haven't played a good/interesting pirate game since an odd Pirates of the Caribbean game I played on my original Xbox.
Actually their reactions were real. Not a cringey script, but cringey people. Although it was authentic and showed some cool gameplay.
Diminishing returns are much greater from 720p to 900p or 900p to 1080p vs 1440p to 2160p.
Neonridr
"I mean the difference between 1440 - 2160 is a lot bigger than 900 - 1080 in terms of pixel count." Yeah but actually seeing it is much different. The pixel density will be very high and the law of diminishing returns, especially between 2k and 4k is very high. Physically seeing it will be hard to tell while performance will suffer big time.
@uptownsoul. You are correct. As long as the upscale tech is good in both the PS4 and TV, then it will be very hard to notice. Diminishing returns really starts past 1080p.
Name 5 games that you got "jipped" on you're "very expensive gaming PC".
