The Getaway 3 and 8 Days were both put on hold indefinitely, not canceled.
Yeah the video framerate was pretty choppy. The game looks great, especially considering that footage was from a very early build.
Yeah you got all the "FPS players" here arguing about BF3 vs CoD. It's pretty sad.
I'm buying this day one. I've owned and played the hell out CS 1.6, CZ, and Source, and I'm gonna do the same to this game.
That's retarded. Why would he even HAVE a double?
Everything you just mentioned is only possible THROUGH that raw power in the first place. Dunno why you felt the need to tell me that, lol. All of that is still a part of the PC version looking better.
CS is one of the original FPS games, and was probably before you were even born kid. Shut yer trap and respect it.
I could probably max this game out on my outdated 8600GT.
Still trying to figure out why PC elitists feel the need to point out that their 2011 PC's are more powerful than 6 year-old consoles. Whatever makes you sleep better at night, I guess.
@The article: REALLY? A PC PORT LOOKING BETTER THAN THE CONSOLE VERSION? HOW CAN THIS BE??? /wrists
The words of a wiseman, I agree with everything you said, though CoD3 was pretty decent. CoD3 was pretty much just an expansion for CoD2. CoD4 is when all the hand-holding began. I'd still play CoD1-4 any day over the abomination that is MW2.
Well he did say "remake", not "remaster". A remake is a previously-released game being remade from the ground up. None of the PS2 HD releases have been remakes, just remastered ports.
Satire of WHAT? Get outta here with your stupid quasi-intellectual analysis of the game. How is it even possible to take fun "too far"?
Don't like it, don't buy it. Dunno why you're even here.
In 2011, fun = bad.
Why am I in this world?
It's funny how people always hype up the shit that comes to XB Live, when usually it's just some gimped POS scaled-down version. Like how they have a wikipedia app where you have to PAY to use it, and can only look at like 5 or 6 pages with three paragraphs each on them, not to mention it's missing like 99.999% of all articles from wikipedia.
Nah if I want an arcade game, I'll just go play something that's actually good like Quake or Doom.
Yeah people said the same thing about WaW, MW2, and Black Ops, being overly-optimistic and trying to pretend like the little footage they saw somehow wasn't gonna represent the whole game. They'll fool you with their shiny trailers, but the game will be another unbalanced, broken, glitchy piece of shit just like the rest were.
People have brought up the console on the CoD games and The Orange Box on PS3/360, but they did so with hacks from a USB thumbdrive with modified savedata on it. Still a shame that they disallow devs from using debug menus and consoles.
This is how much it should've costed at launch, honestly. I played the piss out of the game and enjoyed it, but once you beat the story, there's no reason to go back. No challenge chambers, none of that good stuff. Same for the MP. You beat it once and there's no real reason to go back. Not even any time trials or anything.
Thankfully I got it on PS3 so I got the PC version for free, so I took the PS3 version back to GS and got some in-store credit. I'll re-do...
I wish Bardock never died. Just imagine if he woulda survived, dude would've probably been kicking ass with his son.
You're a terrible troll, and you're not witty, clever, or funny either. Most casuals don't even know what the fuck 60fps is, and probably won't even know the difference when they switch to a real FPS like Battlefield on consoles.
There's a difference between a consistent, smooth 30fps and a choppy, v-sync buffered mess of 30fps.
Lastly, dunno why you think you're cool calling people "casuals" when you're some retarded-ass...
Who the hell is this guy? Oh, him and his studio made some Spongebob games. Yeah, move along.
