Wth I told you it wasn't coming in 2008 in the other thread and everyone went nanners over me and started calling me a fanboy. They already said this before. I can't believe anyone thought they'd release splinter cell this year with absolutely no hype at all whatsoever. It's just what ps3 owners suspected after all that time without hearing any killzone 2 hype from sony.

I'm not making it up. It was originally pushed for an early 2008 release date if you remember, and then it was said for a 2009 release. I don't just make crap up on the spot like that. Plus wouldn't you think that it'd recieve a bit more spotlight if it was coming in 2008? I mean they're hyping banjo but they're not hyping splinter cell? Really now? It's coming this year?

Splinter cell isn't arriving in 2008, there's already been several stories on N4g confirming this. Halo wars is coming in 2009.

Yeah the PS1 was a bit more powerful than the n64. It also had more storage space with CD's while the n64 had catridges still.

Sony and microsoft updated their hardware and made it more powerful and high tech, and the wii is beating them both horribly. I'm assuming that next gen, that'll result in all 3 companies pandering for the casual audience rather than the hardcore the next go around. Which really sucks for hardcore gamers, but there's not really much we could do about it. We all should have bought 2 of our consoles, that way they could have outsold the wii. Have fun playing super halo tennis and Metal Gear kar...
Alot of the sega fans have become xbox owners. I would imagine so at least. God knows they wouldn't go to nintendo or sony.
After reading the interview it really seems like they're being very careful to not screw up. Adding the grain filter just to make it seem more like silent hill was very thoughtful. I might give this game a shot afterall.
