Don't forget that you'll need high speed RAM to get the best performance out of these APUs. But right now, the price gap between 1600mhz and 2400mhz ram isn't all that much.
@kevnb
the cpu is definitely the weak point of the consoles. The 7850 can run BF4 in 1080p with high settings at 60fps with a decent CPU, so either the PS4's cpu is holding it back or DICE isn't quite expert with the PS4 sdk yet
mantle would increase performance, but not by that much.
You should have worded that "It isn't acceptable to sell a console game for 130% of the PC price."
I find it hard to believe that the fan sucked the "capacitor leakage" from the motherboard and deposited it on the plastic vent. Im more inclined to believe that he spilled something on it lol
I'm glad i only preordered BF4+Premium for $83...
Honestly, I feel like people who complain about hit detection or the so called "netcode" in any way are just bad. I'm not saying im a pro, but i've put over a thousand hours in the last 3 battlefield games and have yet to see a noticeable problem. I have average internet speeds as well...
but aside from that, this has been by far the buggiest BF game yet..
Wow exactly none of that was true. That's actually kind of impressive, right?
Should have just left the first half of that comment out. There was no reason for those games to be on PC. Good points in the second half though.
I thought that the MK11 was the best DMR until I got the SCAR. Their stats are nearly identical, except slightly lower horizontal recoil on the SCAR but slightly lower muzzle velocity.
The DMRs in BF3 had a starting damage of 50 and end damage of 37, so that meant 2 hit kills at close range and 3 hit kills everywhere else, whereas the BF4 carbines have a max damage of 43 and min of 30, so 3 to 4 hit kills depending on range. For a semi automatic weapon, that does make a noti...
Sure hes better than some for sticking by his kid, but that doesn't make up for the fact that he's an idiot. The listing said it was for a photo, and any sensible person would have taken that as a hint to not purchase it. He deserves a refund, but he doesn't deserve our sympathy lol
I was surprised until i saw that he was 19 and the father of a 4 year old.
I know this isn't a reply, but the OP is off topic anyways lol. I have an honest question here. What i dont understand is that this GPU is supposedly in between a 7850 and 7870 gpu. the 7850 is capable of playing BF4 at 1080p and 60fps on PC where optimization is thought to be very low compared to consoles. Is this just inexperience with the PS4 sdk and lack of time that DICE was unable to get 1080p and 60fps on the PS4?
If these gpu rumors are true, then oh man are we g...
Well maybe. But if you were to buy a prebuilt PC from any company like HP, Dell, alienware, or whatever, they don't give you the bonus games either.
Did you play BF3 at launch?
Seriously though... I feel like the people that are complaining about netcode are either bad or stupid. Being able to be play with people thousands of miles away with only milliseconds of lag is extremely impressive. Netcode can only do much when latency is involved.
weapon mods are way too expensive too.
lolwut? I've never had a CC on my XBL account in the 7 years I've had it. Regardless, GTA V is the last console game i will ever buy.
We already know the cloud is just a gimmick for the Xbox One. You need more bandwidth to do anything more than what is already being done with dedicated servers in current games, and MS only requires/recommends a 1Mbps connection for the XB1 (If i remember correctly), so that isn't nearly enough for anything significant.
The physics are the one thing i'm worried about... I built my pc a few weeks after registration for the tool packs closed last year so i barely missed the beta/alpha/whatever window.
