The customer was being a douche. He stated he has three kids, and he expected them to all play with one controller? He would need at least one more anyway, so why not buy one (or two) more so all your kids can play games together and then ship the Day One controller back for replacement? I mean, it’s just common sense.
Either he cheats to earn that many trophies, or he has no life and lives off the work of others. Either way, it's pathetic and isn't something to be proud of. He doesn't really contribute anything to society.
That chat pad is 100% the 360 version. You can tell by the angle of the top that it wouldn't fit with the new controller, the bottom of the controller is too shallow and not the right angling for it. It's just a placeholder image I'm sure.
I'm thankful for my son that was born this year!
OK, the "____ of Death" thing is just getting stupid now. It's not even being used properly any more. Enough.
Gamestop managers wouldn't have a clue because they stopped taking pre-orders for MONTHS when Microsoft was thought to be blocking used games on their new system. Talk about a biased article.
Microsoft has only had one console prior to the 360, and it sold relatively poorly, especially compared to the PS2 (its direct competitor at the time). Saying that Microsoft doesn't have a track record of supporting their consoles isn't really a fair comparison because the PS2 just kept selling, something that I'm sure even Sony was surprised about. MS has stated that the 360 will continue to be supported beyond the Xbox One's launch on a number of occasions, going so far as...
Agent is a R* game...?
JEEZ Naughty Dog! Spoiler alert! Now I'm going to go into it pre-awed!
There's a totally easy way around this if you have an older TV, get an HDMI to component converter for around $30. http://www.amazon.com/ViewH...
Umm....to get you to buy XBL? It's not really a mystery...
Go home, troll.
No way this is true. Valve is incapable of creating a third version of its series. Can't possibly be accurate.
The post has since been removed from Xbox's Facebook page. Looks like they finally figured out how stupid they were, after only like 1500 people correcting them...
First of all, I was being sarcastic. Nice job picking up on that Dr. Cooper. Second of all, who the f*** asked your opinion?
Fox is gonna fire this reporter within a week, he's too smart and logical for them.
@insomnium2, Microsoft had already announced that as a feature prior to changing its stance, so I'm not really sure what planet you're reading your news from, but on this one, you were wrong before you even started typing your reply.
@DigitalRaptor, Digital games couldn't be shared with people, at all, unless you bought a second copy and gifted it to them permanently. Having the ability to let my friends play a game I bought was a BIG deal to a lot of us and now ...
Umm, you clearly don't have a clue. First of all, the system was broken from the developers' point of view. A system only works if all parties involved agree that it works, but the existing system only works for gamers, not for developers, because they lose sales dollars through the used games market. And how can you possibly say there were no innovations on the Xbox One? Persistent game library across any console by just logging into Xbox Live, Family Share allowing you to share ...
Okay, here goes:
1) Persistent Game Library: being able to access your entire game library from anywhere because your console can authenticate to MS's servers on any system. This will be tied to your account FOREVER, even if your house burns down.
2) Family Share: Sharing your ENTIRE GAME LIBRARY with up to 10 people because your console can authenticate the authorization on their machine.
3) Diskless gaming: NEVER having to keep your ga...
@azshorty, Because they probably don't have an abundance of Day One controllers laying around for replacements. My guess is they have fully packaged consoles ready to go, but the Day One run was limited. My bet is they were going to just fix his existing Day One controller.
And frankly, the customer was being a douche. He stated he has three kids, and he expected them to all play with one controller? He would need at least one more anyway, so why not buy one (or two) mo...
