if the 1st trailer i saw was in 07 (the one that caused racist outrage), then it must have been roughly in production the same amount of time as Killzone 2.
It's a shame the Japenese are so not into making their control schemes a bit more accessable. It's becoming too persistent, but I guess it generates that learning curve for you to overcome.

Res5 has a similar art direction to MGS4's 1st level with it's brown colour palette. I believe Res5 will have it's levels sectioned out just like MGS and Res4. This allows it to maintain here detailed texture quality. They're both 3rd person action genre.

I just don't get the hype over Halo3. It looks pretty good in the graphics department but it's not amazing. I didn't like the 2nd one so maybe that's why I could care less about this one. KZ2 will always be the number one fps in my opinion. People can say what they want about the gameplay because I know they aren't mind blowing but they aren't too bad either. It really comes down to how fanboys look at it.
