Yeah somehow I think your opinions should be taken with a grain of salt. Why do I get this feeling you are a part of vgchartz? If I am correct, guess the people that claim VGC is run by an MS fans is accurate.
The only time the AI made me lose a race was in the Nascar event (Extreme event) on the Daytona track. It was on the 9th lap and I was in 1st place. I spun like a top an into a wall. I finished dead last but won the championship because I place in the top 3 on the 4 other events.
I have raced over 3000 miles and that was the only race that the AI bumped me into a wall "BUT" it was my fault. I took the corner wrong and hit the brake hard instead of heel and toeing ...

I am not going to go on a tirade but I feel your frustration. It frustrates me as well. Developers like PD are not giving the patience they deserve for full and thorough reviews yet yearly games, most of them having serious issues, get reviews with big numbers thrown out like it's candy and meaningless. We all know why these dev and publishers get those reviews. They are usually the highest "marketed" games with big advertising budgets.

Maybe I am living in the moment but for me it's GT5.
It finally (I say finally because I have been anticipating it 6 months after GT4 was released) arrived and I am completely addicted to it.
My other favorites of 2010 is GOW3 and RDR.
Where GT outshines every other game is in the accuracy and scale of their real life tracks. GT5 has the most accurate Nurburgring track I have ever played on a video game. All of their tracks are near perfect in replication.
GT5 is flat out amazing.
Challenging as hell but amazing none the less.
I still think, at least from a gaming perspective, 2007 was the best year for the 360.
Since GT5 has been released my gaming time has drastically increased in the amount I play per day. GT5 is all I have played and pretty much all I have wanted to do since it has been released.
So I guess I would fall under the yes (A BIG HELL YES!) it was worth the wait for me. It is without question my favorite racer to come out this generation and one of my favorite games to come out this generation.

Actually Chaos you could not be more wrong. If anything GT5 is being nitpicked to death and some of the reasoning behind it is borderline criminal. Where games like Gears of War 2 and MW2 were given a pass.
I cant recall one site, NOT ONE, having GeoW2's over all rating take a hit because of it's horrid online issues. No they were too busy rushing out their reviews and glorifying it any way they could. So many issues that engine has in general yet practically not on...
Oh so now the ratio of consoles sold is allowed in comparisons of products when it's in Japan, you know the country that doesn't mattr (like any country outside of NA), but when members say this about American sales where the 360 has a 2 to 1 advantage? It's called grasping at straws. You just have to adore the hypocrisy of members on this site that argue over sales.
