Microsoft and Sony are just starting with their motion controls, so they are going to have more casual games. Nintendo has been doing this for 4 years, so developers are doing more with the technology. It's the experimental time for Microsoft and Sony.
GOTY 2011 Confirmed!
Why would anyone other than a moron move their console from horizontal to vertical while a disc was spinning inside? Of course that is going to happen. It's not like he just bumped it slightly, he actually completely flipped it over.
I can't wait to see the PS3 fanboy reaction when Kinect outsells Move 10 to 1 this holiday season.
Then explain PlayStation Move.
They are spending much more time showing their Kinect games than showing a person hold a PS3 controller.
The casual market is who will be buying these motion controls, so if Move isn't marketed toward that group then it won't sell. Kinect is already going to sell far better than Move since it is something new and fresh. We've already experienced motion controls with the Wii. Hands-free is the future of gaming. Anyone who thinks Move is going to sell anywhere close to Kinect must be out of their mind.
And they'll all be superior on the 360, like 90% of multiplatform games.
The RROD has been completely eliminated, so you don't need a 3 year warranty anymore.
It has no games, really? That's funny, because according to MetaCritic there are currently 890 games available for the Xbox 360, 153 of those having come out in 2010. The PS3, on the other hand, currently has only 558 games, 142 of those from 2010. The Wii has 624 games, with 121 from 2010.
So, the 360 actually has more games than any other console this gen, and also the most so far this year.
Project Last Place Console Gets a Motion Controller That Looks Almost the Same as the Wii's.
^ Can't wait to see that tomorrow, LOL!
Sony only copies others. Look at how similar the Move controllers look to the Wii remote and nunchuck.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Subsistence for Xbox 360 and Grand Theft Auto V Timed Exclusivity,
Maybe late for Sony, but not for Microsoft. Kinect is a completely new, hands-free motion control experience, and it is sure to have record breaking sales just like the Wii, which continues to outsell the 360 and PS3 to this day. Who knows? The 360 might be outselling the Wii at this same time next year if Kinect becomes the next big thing, which looks to be very likely. Microsoft does expect to sell 5 million units just in the last few months of 2010 alone.
Well, they are still in dead last place with no sign of catching up, but they're definitely better off now than they were in 2006.
You'll be in a tiny minority then.
It's just not as exciting as Kinect. Kinect is something completely different. It's controller-free. Microsoft is going to advertise it to hell, and it is bound to be the next big thing, just like the Nintendo Wii was. No one is going to get excited over Move because it is almost exactly like the Wii, down to the wands you hold in your hand. It is not a new experience.
Kinect is going to push people to buy a 360 to experience this new revolution everyone will be talki...
Then why is the Natal conference airing on every MTV owned network on television?
Nintendo has won E3, hands down! Sony would have to pull out a miracle to beat them. There were so many surprise game announcements at Nintendo's conference, and all of Sony's have already been revealed or leaked. And who cares about the PS3's 3D when you don't even need glasses for the Nintendo 3DS?!
