The same HD quality can be had on a DVD disk...but not the same QUANTITY.

With all the best games being multiplat (Bioshock, CoD4, etc), this gen, I don't see any games justifying a $400-500 purchase. Even with my HDTV, I could care less about BR players as there's not a justifiable quality difference to re-purchase movies and buy new ones on BR disc.

Actually blows away an iPod! If you have big hands like me, then you'd prefer this to the iTouch-especially if you have a smartphone for mobile internet access. It has a 3.2" screen compared to iTouch's 3.5", better use of wifi (syncing from anywhere is great!). And still, it blows away the capacity of the iTouch.
And it definetly blows away the new 120Gb iPod in screen size, and features. And the Zune software is YEARS better than iTunes! The coolest thing I like...

360 is closed to try to deter piracy. Seems to work good enough cause piracy, etc isn't as rampant as it was on the orig xbox.

I'm really sick of these 'console wars'. This is something I don't see either, so you can twist & manipulate words all you want but fact is fact; it is UNPROVEN that bluray is BETTER for games in ANY way especially in terms of content (PC still superior) and graphics (again PC is still superior).

the 360 still retains it's full Backwards-Compatibility. I have an Elite with at least 10+ demos, a smack-load of videos from the marketplace, over 100 game saves, etc & I still have 40+gigs left.
120 wasn't really necessary unless you CAN'T stream stuff from your PC.
Single player games, no matter how good (Bioshock, Mass Effect, etc) are no longer worth the initial $60 IMO.
It's better to buy these games used or after the price drops and you'll still get the enjoyment (just avoid spoilers at all costs).
With online games, it's cool to be 'the first kid on the block' playing online. Single player games; who cares...really??

My movie d/l work thru Windows Media Center via 360 or the 360 dashboard (depending on the format). And with a Zune Pass, I stay up on all my tunes, watch my podcasts and d/l video via 360 or on-the-go via Zune. I use MediaCenter to rec House, Prison Break & other shows and then d/l them to my lady's Zune so she can watch it on her commute to work.
Yup...outside of the economy...life's great!
