I played Halo 3 for exactly 3 weeks and then traded it in for Call of Duty 4. So, no, not everyone "always" goes back to Halo 3.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is...A lot of people don't have lap tops, or great computers in general and will really get a kick out of this new feature...I know I'll be using it...A lot.
It could have 2 midgets punching goats on the cover and I wouldn't care...This game looks like it's going to be amazing.
Meh, as a fan, I love E3. I don't care what happens but I hope that something becomes the "Comic Con of the gaming industry" in terms of getting first looks at upcoming projects.
They should have canceled it when there was slow down in one of the 5 games released? Yeah, that makes sense...Did you even play the game or did you read reviews and then blow them way out of proportion?
Half Life 2 is an amazing game that a lot of people who don't own a gaming PC didn't play...Then you have episodes 1 and 2 which turn an amazing 15 plus hour game into about 25 hours. Then you have Portal which is, without a doubt, the most addictive and satisfying puzzle game I've ever played. It's a shame that PS3 owners didn't get to experience a proper port of this because it's really an amazing deal.
This is what I call "natural selection".
Anyone who didn't choose MS is merely a fanboy...See how stupid that sounds? No, I'm guessing you don't.
Uhm...Actually, nearly every game that is on PS3 and 360 runs and plays better on 360 and at a higher resolution.
Personally, I own both consoles (No, the Wii doesn't count as a console as it's more of a glorified joke) and I've done the math...Between now and the end of the year I've got a list of 19 definite games and about 12 "maybes" This is gonna be a great Holiday.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this but every game they chose was PLAYABLE or had actual GAMEPLAY. MAG is nothing more than an idea. You don't give Awards for concepts that haven't been seen in action. At least not if you want to be taken seriously.
I would have put Mirror's Edge and Resident Evil 5 in the Multi-platform, but that's just me.
Who honestly thinks inFamous is going to be a sleeper hit?
I don't think it's anything special because it looks just like Prototype
And thus you just answered your question.
It's really not that high profile. The awareness for the game is only now being talked about due to Game Informer's cover story.
I can see why this is a potential "sleeper".
Personally, the game I'm most looking forward to is Left 4 Dead. But after seein...
In terms of sales, no PS3 game this holiday is going to top Gears of War 2. It's a fact. I'm looking forward to Resistance 2, LBP, Left 4 Dead, Tomb Raider and a bunch of other games more, but the fact remains...Nothing is going to top Gears.
Why should they be ashamed? Because YOU said so? I think they should be proud to give that game a 10. Now what?
GTA IV sold almost as much as Halo 3in week one but sold more in weeks two-six. Also, Halo 3 had the benefit of a Holiday season behind it while GTA IV had none. So yes, while Halo 3 has sold more, it's been out longer and with a Holiday plus it's the most kid-friendly M rated game ever. If GTA came out in October of this year we'd be seeing a different story I'm sure.
As for why I hate Halo. I actually LOVE Forge and I love FUN games like Rocket Race and Oddball. But Team Slayer...
You don't really think MGS 4 is to Sony as Halo 3 is to MS do you? There is no way in hell MGS 4 is selling over 8 million copies. It won't even sell half of that on the PS3. If that's what Sony is pinning their hopes on, then I wasted a sh!tload of money a PS3. (Thankfully, Sony aren't that stupid)
I'm not taking anything from an XBOX centric site seriously but when you look at the sales for MGS4, and what Konami wants, it's a no brainer for it to make it's way to the 360.
It sold 1.5 million in a day and has barely sold a million since then. It's sold little more than half a million in Japan and 800,000 in the states. Is it a hit? Yes. Is it the hit Konami wanted? Doubtful. They stand to make a ton of more sales on the 360 and this is a fact.
Correction. Sony has made more promises that they have yet to deliver on.
Every FF has sold over 2 million in the US since part VII. It'll do just fine here.
"Just Wait" should be Sony's new slogan...Actually, it should have been their slogan for PS3 from launch.
Really? So there were UAVs, air strikes, helicopters, silenced weapons, perks, prestige mode, domination, modern weaponry, a story about nuclear devastation in COD 2? I must have gotten the "Super Budget None of the Content Edition".
