That's because it's a completely different game. The GI cover story was for Arkham Asylum. The Dark Knight game is based on the movie.
I got giddy when I saw the tree sway back and forth from the nearby explosion...This is going to be AWESOME!
So the people that actually played the entire game gave it a perfect score but you, who only played it for a few hours, says it doesn't deserve those score...Yeah, that makes sense.
And if you bothered to read any of the reviews you'd know that NO ONE said the game was perfect but rather such an excellent experience that it earned a 10.
I didn't score the game a 10/10 but that's not to say the game didn't affect each respective reviewer that way. It's damn close to a...
Actually, no, just because someone enjoys it doesn't mean it's good. No more than anyone not liking it makes a game bad. While taste is often subjective, the concept of "good taste" and "bad taste" exist for a reason. In regards to games, taking out the subjectivity of genre, graphical style and control scheme, there are issues that will, no matter who enjoys it, keep a game from being good. Bad frame rates, bad writing, bugs, and such. If these things persist from the out...
Actually, COD 5 IS being made by Infinity Ward...World at War isn't and its also not CALL OF DUTY 5.
I've played tactical online games before...Just not Socom. I'm all about team communication. In fact my friend and I, who are starting a clan, are going to use the Beta to learn the maps, come up with names for all the different landmarks and such.
What makes me excited is to be able to FINALLY play a game where communication is key. The first online game I played was Vegas 1 for the 360 and EVERYONE communicated. If they didn't they were kicked. No mic? Kicked. That's the kind ...
It amazes me when I see people saying things like GTA IV was bad. Well, there's no accounting for taste.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to SR2 as a fun game.
I certainly hope this turns out to be as good as it looks, because it looks fantastic.
This is going to be my first experience with SOCOM online...I'm sort of excited.
Being that I live in the US, I can safely say that I don't care and I'm really not sure when anyone except Japanese 360 owners care at all.
I'm glad they don't count guests...If COD4 had guests it would trounce Halo 3.
Can I ask WHY someone disagrees with what games I want? Please enlighten me about what games I want more. I'm dying to know.
Glad to see my most anticipated game on the top spot! And my second not far behind. There are no games I'm more excited for this year than Mirror's Edge and Left 4 Dead.
If Killzone and Resident Evil were actually coming out this year, it might be different.
Me, that's who. The only time I get bored in a GTA game is when I'm NOT doing the missions.
I'll be playing it. I loved the game and I personally can't wait for more.
What makes you think a game has to be limited to emotions during cut scenes? And you say this now having played the game, but if Kojima saw fit to integrate the story with the gameplay, and I doubt anyone would complain. You can disagree, but the fact is that the game is gameplay heavy in the beginning and the more to the story advances, the less you play. You may like it, but I can safely say that a lot of people wouldn't mind more gameplay and less cutscenes. No one is saying the game is ba...
My problem was that Halloween 3 was about a deranged toy maker who harnessed the power of Stone Henge to put it into a chip that he placed into a mask that when triggered would kill the wearer and cause insects to come out of their face.
There was no depressed girl running from a killer. Not to mention that this demo has nothing to do with the plot of Heavy Rain and was created for show purposes only.
Then you have the guy saying the graphics are bad. I can't take th...
I loved the game myself, (one of the best this gen) but I would rather have more gameplay tell the story. Half-life 2 does this excellently. You never really lose control of Freeman while the story unfolds. I'm hoping he can accomplish this for the next one. Or at least have less cutscenes. And before anyone disagrees, would you seriously not like a MGS game that tells just as good of a story, but with more gameplay and fewer cut scenes?
Why does this game need guns? I find it refreshing that it removes the bad ass soldier aspect from it's POV to put a more fragile character in its place.
As far as story goes, all we know is that communication is monitored completely by the government and in order to get private information around senders rely on carriers such as Faith. Obviously what she's carrying is important enough for people to want her dead. I think it's an intriguing premise...We don't know the story, yet...
I can see a steady stream of 70% for this game. The demo was a HUGE disappointment for me.
