For the love all things Holy, stop saying that anything about this game is "realistic". Yes, SWAT team and soldiers move and shoot. They HAVE to to survive. And if the game was realistic, at all, you WOULD be able to move and shoot, because in REAL life (the root word of "REAListic") you can, in fact, aim and move.
And saying the controls ADD are the source of the horror? Seriously? It should be the tone, atmosphere and moment to moment situations that do this...
Say what you want about the graphics, but Left 4 Dead is a phenomenal game for it's gameplay and fun. Sure, if it looked like Killzone 2 that would be the icing on the cake, but it plays great so that's enough for me to enjoy and recommend it. I hope a good port gets made for PS3 because everyone should have the option to play this fun game.

Considering that I HAVE beaten the single player about 6 times, I can't fathom what was boring in it...It's an amazing game from start to incredible finish. Sorry you didn't like it because it's all kinds of amazing.

I preferred Mirror's Edge to Dead Space but both are good games that deserve to be franchises. I really hope this means EA green lights a Mirror's Edge sequel. I have a feeling that due to resounding and recurring complaints about the combat system in the game, that DICE will make the next one about what works...The parkour aspect.

I wouldn't say CO-OP is standard but to say that great games are without it is kind of moot because games like MGS don't lend themselves to CO-Op, but a game like Killzone 2 in which you spend the entire game with a team, then an option for co-op play is a no-brainer. You're using a game that came out a year and a half ago's score against a new game. Something that they felt was disappointing nearly 2 years ago is certainly going to have a great effect on the score of a new game. Even if it is 3 tenths of a point.
It's not too much to ask for a genre game to innovate. Especially since the Gold standard of current FPS is called out on it. And really, so what if ANY game scores higher. It's still getting an amazing score.
