So while America might have an equal footing, the PS3 is NOT the same price as the 360 elsewhere in the world.

The price drop in NZ has effectivly bought it in line with the current 360 elite pricing.
Considering the price drop seems most effective in USA (even some Euro countries will still have it more expensive), I guess we will all watch and see what happens to NPD number for the next 3 months.
Actually I think the villian of the peice this time will be the ridiculous pricing for some games on the on demand service.
And rightfully so.
