Yes because if these so called "reputable sites" so much as mention this it violates the NDA... Every other confirmed spec was reveled by MS.

Its sad I went from FF, Zelda, Mario, and every great RPG on the PS2 era to all western games this gen. I tried FF, Tales, Lost Planet, Star Ocean, and tons of others. Most of them could not keep me interested, and I never finished most.
Western games have really evolved this past gen, most for the best. The Eastern games don't hold a candle for me anymore. It makes me sad...

The shaders and GPU have direct links to the Level 1-2 cashe on the CPU. AKA: a faster detour route for trafic.
The Level 1-2 Cashe also had an boost to compensate. It looks like a basic bypass of protocols to increase speed.

If anyone would actually read the article and look at the attached image they would see the flaw. Every Midnight launch has been confirmed, except the Xbox One. So there is no story here, just rumor.
The only thing the FCC approval is needed for is selling the product to the public. They can get an approval at any time. Not failing to get an FCC approval could cost them dearly at this point, depending on what they needed to change.
This is not big news as some might think. After the PSN crash Sony held a special meeting for all GS managers. They where all given free PS3's and one years subscription to PS+. Assistant managers where also given PS3's if they went online and took a training course for Sony. That news was given to me by my boss at the Gamestop I worked for.
It happened before in 2007, as a reward for sales push. That I can not confirm.

MS always gets flack for actually supporting the Kinect. If they dropped it like Sony does with all their perpetuals they would get flack for that too. People are way to fast to forgive Sony for its failings.

Phil already commented the morning before the Sony event that they will not be revealing the launch date this week. They are waiting for Sony's date.
Maybe trying to undercut Sony's launch date if they are smart.
The price drop was 2-3days ago... no one knows how Vita is going to do even Sony.

See that's the problem is no fanboy see's the issue here. There will not be a problem "for the first few years"... What about the long term? These consoles are supposed to last us 6+ years! Do these blind fools not see what advantages 7gigs of ram can give over 4.5 gigs?

Sony will not "optimize" their OS or ram usage. They will expand on what the OS does sure ...
