by the way; Disney didn't develop most of their games, titles like Aladdin, the Lion King and Jungle Book were developed by Virgin Interactive, Castle of Illusion by SEGA and Hercules by Eurocom and so on, thus we owe these beautiful experiences to the talents of these companies and not just Disney.
part of why I enjoyed Dark Souls is me being almost completely oblivious about its offerings. I stopped watching or reading anything of significance about DS3 and I will keep it that way until I play it.

true. one more thing is that unlike FPSs and RPGs of today that are built mainly on the online experience, the most enjoyable experience in fighting games is with a group of friends sitting with you and not just online. having the challenger with you in the same room is a whole different feel of excitement and you don't have that all the time like in the Arcades of past.
to me, fighting games will always be the ultimate form of gaming challenge and pressure where you are ...

although I didn't have one but I loved the Saturn and dreamt of owning one when I was a kid. SEGA memories will always rule over my gaming heart.
SEGA didn't fail in every endeavor.
the Mega Drive was among SEGA's successes and it wasn't piracy that failed hard the Dreamcast. it was timing, technology and the lackluster of consistent 1st and 3rd party quality games. their investment in the SEGACD and 32X earlier also added to their overall loss.
