I never worry about launch games but since it will be able to play PS4 games too I don't think they've got much to worry about

Perfect example of how the industry works. Companies take the good from each other and add it as well. They all copy each other when it helps them and also so they don't get left way behind. Personally I haven't used the share button in years. I did to take some pictures but that's about it.
Phones are subsidized. Consoles are not. Personally, I don't want them to be either. I don't buy the new phones anymore. Too much money subsidized or not
This. I figured as well that it's because they didn't want to release Resistance by itself as nobody would buy it. I can already see issues with it (like finding full matches), but I don't plan on ever playing it anyway
Both will be ok too. Not like it will take much for then to do it. For all we know they'll do both right away anyway

I'm sure it will and I'm almost positive it will still have a "definitive" version released for the PS5. I personally won't double dip otherwise I'd just wait. My first PS5 game will probably be Cyberpunk
I plan on getting this game when it releases as the last game before PS5. What are they supposed to do, abandon the current gen? That would only give ammo to the other guys (even though they're guilty too). No reason can't have 2 versions. Plus it'll play on PS5 anyway.
I haven't checked on the Game Awards but I don't see how a cinematic could steal the show. If it did must not have been a good show
We are probably going to have multiple articles weekly just like this for the next few months. It happened at the beginning of this gen too where people were overhyping something/making stuff up (like Hellblade at launch)
I guess until the PS5 is shown and we know more people will be releasing these kinds of stories. TWO whole juggernauts! I'm starting to see another Xbox One type of excitement again. I remember how that went down. Personally i don't see why people continue to give MS the chance when Sony has proven themselves time and time again, but whatever. I'll be getting a PS5

They are coded more "to the metal" and therefore get more out of their systems though. Come on, it's almost 2020. Everyone knows a console is a console and a PC is a PC
Kind of makes you wonder if it really was "in game" at first. I mean, if it were it should match as it wouldn't have been changed (since it was already done). Unless I'm missing something. Then again, looking at trailers and things elsewhere they don't look "bad" like the new set of pictures. Maybe whoever took those took bad ones.

I hate when they do this stuff. I'm still not going to get it until a year from release when the next part is hopefully out, but still. When music did this I didn't like it either. If one is going to preorder somewhere they should all be the same. I feel like the more companies do stuff like this the more turned off people are by it. (at least I would hope)

The game is fun even though difficult. I have gotten frustrated but that's a given. Had to look a few things up and I hate doing that. I guess with these kinds of games that can be a given too. Already passed over a boss to come back to later. I'm not really that far, just got to the guy with the spear on the horse which made me go back and get the Shinobi Firecracker that I apparently missed. Keeping track of the merchants will be tough too. Especially when...
They really are bad with naming their consoles. I do agree with that. Sure there was meaning behind them, but when you plan for the future (which in some ways it doesn't look as though they were thinking very far ahead) then the names just get confusing. Xbox, 360, then Xbox One (third console), and Xbox Series X? Very unorthodox

I've been hoping to see these games. I really don't have the time for them but they look like my kind of games. I've had Lacrimosa of Dana on a list to grab at one point
This is why Black Friday don't seem so great anymore. All these games have been this price pretty much ever since and will stay that way until the new year.
I agree the numbers are not impressive. Why else would MS stop reporting them after screaming them from the rooftops last gen? They've been lying so much to people over the years. That's why they won't be getting my money (among other reasons)
Better than the One for sure. Games are releasing on PC too though so could just get them on there. With MS focusing on services and playing anywhere it seems less of a reason to buy their system but I will say their focus seems to have changed which is good (meaning on games and studios)
