The demo definitely sold me. I'm still not a fan of it not being turn based, but the gameplay is much better than I imagined it to be. Nostalgia aside, this game holds up all by itself. It's definitely one of the more polished games that I've seen this gen. That's assuming the demo is the same as the original. Sure it's getting broken up into parts which is a bummer to those that played the original, but the part in the demo was also able to be played in like 10 minutes in...

It's funny they would think that people even wanted PvP in the first place. That's not what Fallout is about, but then again I haven't played the games either. I do have Fallout 4 still yet to play

Exactly. Which also means that "current gen" could easily handle it. In the same way you're talking. Assuming that this computer far away is doing all the work, and information is going back and forth consistently on the network, prepare for huge amounts of lag. I don't see it not being playable though. Most likely just a developer choice on the hardware it wants to support
Chromecast Ultra is better than current gen? Sure it can be played on a Vega 56 GPU PC, but it's also playable on weak hardware....
I don't mind if it's 4K 30. Although with the consoles one would think they should be able to hit 60 as well. Then we'll just start hearing about "lazy devs" again

Sometimes even economies of scale don't work. Quality is sometimes lowered, in foods artificial ingredients are used, or other things are done to get the price down. In the case of movies the "cheaper" UHD sometimes comes just as that, no extra copy or digital copy. Eventually these companies are going to see that the prices of movies are just too high. They drop in price faster than they used to. Unless they're Star Wars or something
I'm not sure about that. I know 4K movies can get expensive. Especially when it's Disney or some other big name. I have been able to find some pretty good deals on movies though, BluRay and 4k. Hopefully this next black Friday there will be a lot more. I don't mind picking up BluRays at around $10 or 4K $15 if they're movies I like. $30+ they're just crazy though

And honestly just because it's there don't mean it's working either. Musicians are always talking about the negatives of streaming. Movies have been terrible lately. There are cons to it it's just many don't want to look that far
I'm so tired of hearing this. It's been consistent for like a decade now. Are we really trying to say that if Netflix of gaming is on Xbox that we trust MS to make all the games? I mean that's what happened with Netflix. Now they just create all their own stuff. No gaming company/developer would want that.
I own the soundtrack to the original game. I love the soundtracks to the older RE games.

I agree and have been saying the same thing. Native IS best. Just look at movies. A 4K stream still can't touch the native 4K BluRay. I've tested this multiple times. And this is movies. Gaming is a whole different beast with player input and lag to deal with
If it's not on PS5 I won't be playing it. I'd love to check it out though as I'm a fan of the other games.
Nobody knows the release date of part 2. It could easily be delayed and we wouldn't even know.
I wish they'd give FFIX this kind of attention as well. I never completed Xenogears but that's a cool game
