I get that song stuck in mg head a lot. Good one :)
I'm hoping gamers get fed up with those practices too. I don't buy season passes for anything. I rarely (never have actually) buy DLC, besides Rocksmith songs. I'm also not preordering anything this gen and the last few games I've bought were months after release. I don't like these sleazy practices that are becoming the norm
I was going to buy the game on Black Friday because it was so cheap ($20?). I didn't though because I might end up with it at Christmas. My girl told me to stop buying stuff!
@gameDev
Funny.... +1
I agree! Games can't be made with any less than 100 people!! That's at LEAST 100 people to release AAA games! That's 10 working on the game itself and 90 more just standing around getting paid to drink coffee and tell jokes, while farting and stroking their egos all day....

Edit: I love seeing how some of these amazing games can be made with such small, or just smaller in general, teams. Kind of a slap in the face from people that were claimin...
I'm happy to see this game turning around. I hope the plus version comes out soon so I can check it out! If I like it, I'll definitely add it to my list of wanted games (that's getting SHORTER). I'm trying to be more picky because I don't have enough time to play all these games and "online" hurts that time even more :)
Santa is your parents?! How come that's not making headlines???
/s :)
I'm not understanding articles like this either. It's like reading the same thing over and over and over again. By now if people haven't made their minds up, they will probably do so shortly. And without the "help" of this article I'm sure. I won't ever buy all the consoles. I just stick to one because that's all the time I have for it. I like to game, and enjoy them too. I don't like speed running and sometimes there's a game that can keep me involve...
No kidding. 724 consoles though is laughable IMO. Laughable and sad
I bought that full price and it was just opened yesterday >_<
Dragon Age Inquisition for $40 caught my eye too
Paying to play online is completely different than having a physical system to play games on. Yes a fuss was made, because it required change. Even I didn't like the idea. You know what though? I'd rather pay online and have a decent running and stable service than not pay and have nothing. And yes, I understand the service itself is laughable right now. I'm confident it will get better with the millions they're getting from subscriptions. In the meantime, I'm not complain...
I too will not buy unless it's a physical machine that I can take home. What else can I have to look sexy next to my tv?!
I kind of wish they'd stop using the term "in the cloud". It's a server, nothing more
For real! I hate playing a game for the first time, getting in the mood for it and everything, then I get slapped with a stupid update. It really is a buzzkill. Games are a lot less fun when I can't just "plug and play" like I used to be able to.
Then there's those games that won't even let you play single player until you update (any this gen yet, I don't know). The whole update thing has been taken too far. The other day I had to update my PS4 bef...
This whole war thing really is stupid. Yeah I may not like the X1, but that's because I'm not a fan of MS in general. I also don't agree with what they've been doing since Kinect1.0. Sony "won" 3 generations (not counting the Wii) and what did that get them? Nothing! The market is healthy and that's all I care about. The resurgence of horror is awesome and hopefully we get a resurgence of JRPG too
They should definitely get harsher treatment. None of this stuff was happening back I. The PS2 days and before. I'm not buying games Day1 anymore. Last game I got was Alien Isolation and that was one month later. Game was actually good though and didn't need patches (I'm only on chapter 12.) We need to get back to the days where games are complete upon release. Hopefully more people stop preordering, no matter how "good" the perks are. These companies will learn eventual...
I didn't know there was such a thing. So half the game is missing unless you preorder?! Well Techland lost a sale from me.... Screw that!! Trying to get sneaky wih releasing broken games by also giving the second part of it?? Hmph
Wow this is really cool! Who needs a Vita now?! I'm wanting a tablet now!!
There was a story about what games of the year has taught us and I forgot to put
11. Companion apps are overrated and take more away from the game more than add to it.
I just want to play the games, not have all these other things going too. Not only that, my phone has too many apps on it as it is :) that's just me though
Howdy
18 million should be no problem. Not bad for one year on the market I'd say! I'm glad to see home consoles doing so well in general
A little over one year
Every time I see these commercials I shake my head thinking of how stupid they are. Yeah sex sells and boobs are great BUT this girl has absolutely nothing to do with the game and fake boobs just aren't sexy IMO. Can she even ride a horse in real life, or use that sword or whatever she's got?! I'm actually amazed this game has made so much. I keep wondering how they can promote the NFL and stuff on a "free" game
