I think it might be because they're really good. I don't know, I'm still waiting for the Plus version to check it out. I wonder if these kinds of things were even thought about during the "always online" reveal of the X1. This is just another reason why that was a bad idea and I don't ever want to go down that road again. As it stands, whether it's Sony's fault or not, I'm mad at them and won't be paying for Plus come the end of January. These companies want us to be online, they want us to pay for online, but they can't keep a stable network during high frequency play times....

Come again? I feel like when I pay for something it should work, I'm sorry. I guarantee you if I was having problems like this with my ISP (charter) I'd be on the phone with them bichting their ears off until I was credited for services I paid for and was unable to use. That, or I'd find a way to take them to court. If neither of those worked I'd be sure to tell everyone of my experience and make it my best interest to "spread the word". I agree man!! This is pissing me off!!! I gave up on subscribing to PSN for awhile because of all the issues and nothing to play. Well, I've had the last 2 days off and I can't even get online.... I've been hoping that with the PS4 there's a resurgence of JRPGs. By this I'm hoping new games too, not just remakes or remasters of older games. I won't complain though if they're done right!

There's always one! This has been explained multiple times over. Desperation comes from being behind and trying to spur sales/interest. This is why it's seen as desperate on MS' behalf. They're playing from behind and trying whatever they can to "catch up". Not that it really matters though in the grand scheme of things. That's just the definition of desperate. Also it's not Sony doing it, as was pointed out too
