Pre-ordered the Legendary Edition and went today to pre-order the 360s Reach limited edition also. 2 months to go. We gonna party likes it Halo 2 and 3 launch night.

When you get a chance please give us a detail breakdown of your research showing who all repurchased a new 360. Oh oh oh and add the PS3 Slims when they launched also. You should already have that since fanboys made claims they were going to buy two to replace or add to the ones they already had. Take your time to double check your work.

Where was your same response when Sony made these type of claims about the Slim sales going up by a similar percentage with out numbers?

People are buying it. After 2 days it is already at 64 on Amazon and for Kinect sitting at number 9. Kinect has been sitting in the top 20 for the past month before the official price. Move and the bundle are no where to be found.

Yet you are ignoring that the 360 still sales actual software. The attach ratio is still high for the system so your concern about growth is pretty minor. Plus If some of those sales are rebuys what it is telling you is that consumers are continuing to buy software for that console. You are also assuming consumers only have one console in the home. I have 3 and took my Dec 05 console to Gamestop for the trade in for a new 360s. No one here has actual numbers what was sold to what consumer...

What difference does re-buy make regardless which console you buy. A purchase is a purchase. The fact that you are trying to downplay that a person went and repurchased a console is sad since it is still a sale to the company.

My question is this. How come people who HATE the 360 or MS or anything that isn't Sony/PS3 are commenting about his tweet?
Also who wants to take bets that someone will comment in the NPD thread that they gave away the 360s for free which contributed to the bump for June sales even though NPD doesn't work that way?
Are you aware of the differece you actually are getting with the paid service vs free?
competition is the only reason that it got pushed back. Nothing wrong with that being the reason but no way anyone can say it was Move support when they started the project for this game like every project starts they know what is going to go in the game including Move. The only logical reason is competition. Timing is part of the key for sales.
