So u have forgot or unaware that Kinect has been available to the public not only at events but through places like Macy's and beta testers? You act like it is just simply hard concept to understand u are the controller. This product has been in the news since e3 09. I never claimed any point referenced about how high the failure rate was so what does how high a failure rate has to be. I know it is possible SOMEBODY in this world bought a new PS3 slim that had a YLOD of bad drive go bad but it doesn't reflect ALL owners doing the same thing.

The 360 sold for the exact same reasons. Both consoles were bought for VARIOUS reasons. Whether someone did get a YLOD or simply wanted to upgrade to the redesign or add an additional PS3. Same exact reason people are buying the Slims. Either it is their first second or 3rd that is unrelated to having RROD.
