Mid 80's. Which means I've played more than my fair share of games just like this, many of which weren't all that great.
This is looking great so far, although I admit that I'm in the minority of people who will kinda miss Gamebryo.
Maybe there's hope for Postal 3?
Hmm, never heard of 'em. Not that I play much GTA, but if I ever do, I usually listen to the talk radio; I've never been fond of their musical choices.
I don't think any of these were the best shooter of 2010, but out of the three, my vote definitely goes to GoldenEye.
Meh, doesn't look like anything special to me.
I demand my own series!
I'm with folks who play more for the experience and relaxation. I like a challenge just as much as anyone else, but it's more important to enjoy what I'm doing. There's nothing of importance to be gained making it more frustrating. Not that there's anything wrong with choosing to do so, of course.
I think the PS3 has always had some great games, but it has never had enough exclusives that I care about. I'm not going to argue over which console is better because it doesn't matter in the slightest (besides, I love them all in different ways). I'm just glad that the PS3 is finally coming out with a handful of exclusives that I am personally excited about.
GTA3 had a lot going for it; it just wasn't the same for me. I missed the 2D isometric view, and there's nothing better than driving around the tank in GTA 2: Director's Cut.
I'm with you, Frank. This reminds me of SH2, which was easily the best of the series (for me at least). And I totally agree regarding RE. Those games used to be a blast, but they're just not the same anymore. I think RE0 was the last one I actually enjoyed.
I still definitely prefer GTA2, but I did always enjoy picking up a hooker and then killing her afterwards to get my money back. Just like real life.
I haven't played a Silent Hill game in years, but I'm kinda looking forward to this.
Can't say I've ever cared for golf games, but if I did, these would be good reasons to stop.
I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. They're trying to use the same old scare tactics that don't work anymore. And I think they sped up the action just a little too much without improving Isaac's controls. But I'll reserve judgment for the full version.
Awesome, I love these Xbox events. I can't wait!
Ha, yet more proof that gamers are some of the most impatient people in the world.
You really should take the plunge and buy it! The demo is only a small taste of how awesome this game is.
I haven't played a Pokémon game since Gold/Silver because the newer ones haven't interested me much, but I'm actually somewhat excited for this one. I hope it doesn't disappoint.
Call me when it unlocks the gold gun from GoldenEye.
