Dude, you know one thing money can't buy? Knowledge. You're argument is frail in comparison to mine, and I suggest you use your money better and go to college, just like I am right now, it would help you a great deal more, along with your parents.
Dude, gasoline cost nearly 40 bucks to fill up the whole tank for my car. There is no way in hell, I am going to spend 50 dollars for a game that's a year old, with a year old code, and hell, especially not for a company like Capcom. I even bought all of Capcom's stuff new on Ebay for 4/10ths of the normal price.
Why are all of these titles related to Mario some-way, or titles that seem to be famous titles? Why not put Fire Emblem on the list, or even MGS Twin Snakes, or even Tales of Symphonia. All of these games deserve far more recognition than those on that list.
Are they? I didn't bother going to the site, I only checked the name. Never mind then, I guess Nintendo still hasn't learned their lessons yet.
Awesome, I'm glad Nintendo is starting to take the same route Valve has been taking. I'm actually looking forward to buying the Wii U once the price goes down and that all of the bugs and errors are fully removed.
D: Aghh, I hate it when people who have great skills die. I hope he will be remembered in the years to come.
I have a question, how often do those games come out? Once in 4 years as an exclusive correct? The thing this article is trying to hint as is that even though gaming has gone far, we still can't beat titles that previously came out before. Does that make sense?
This is the first time in this generation where I can say Hallelujah. Why? because strangely enough, compared to this generation, even though technology has become superior in every way, I still play my Super Nintendo Roms far more than my consoles.
CanadianTurtle, those are the EXCLUSIVES, if they weren't good, then there is something honestly wrong with the game industry. Also, think of it like this Resistance one was terrible in terms of graphics, but graphics began to get better, this was the same for all of the franchises that have a greater digit than 1. However, the point this article is trying to make is that even though Golden Sun came in a small package, it provided content that beats most titles this generation without a ...
Actually, I believe most of the old Square Soft employees don't exist. I honestly don't recognize half of the newer staff, and truth be told, I believe Square Enix are keeping them down, so you shouldnt blame them
Square Enix didn't make this, Square soft did. Soft is far better than Enix, enough to say they made amazing titles like Chrono Cross and even some of the Final Fantasy's. Makes you wonder why they ever teamed up with Enix, because half of the original developers are completely gone.
I would still trying to get hold of it one way or another, even if you have to download like an ISO if you have the disc. Why? Because the story is so memorable in every way possible that it will leave you with a smile and over 4 actually different endings to experience.
No it's not dead, not completely anyway. GiantBomb, along with many other sites try to discover news as quickly as possible and give it to you. ElderGeek for example is a fabulous site, too bad no one gives a crap about them, just like you.
Gamespot, IGN and EuroGamer have all been known and exposed at one time or another to give bad information, and give review scores based on the developers paying them. You my friend need to understand that before you make quick assessments of other peoples work. GiantBomb, and a great deal of other sites do not do the same.
I don't understand this article. We are living in America, and most people speak English, however, this article only talks about Japan and how they get great titles like Earth Bound, or more formally known as Mother. What's the point of reporting something like this?
I swear, IGN makes themselves sound better then they really are.
@dlpg585
Sorry, I believe I should have been more specific. I dislike the Mario franchise because the story does not feel like it's going anywhere, and maybe you do have a point, maybe the platforming does add a few new features, but it's nothing close to innovation, nothing like the first mario title, or the RPG one that was released for the GBA, which is the primary reason I dislike the Mario franchise, or feel indifferent about it. Concerning that you believe that they add ...
It's ironic how you are trying to act like an adult by inquiring your first question, and insulting gamers who play Bayonetta, even though they might like the game play rather than her character mode, and then later asking for DQX, which is far more childish than Bayonetta.
I personally don't care for any of the Mario titles whatsoever. I find them to be far to overrated at this point in time. Why? Because there are about 20 of those titles, and they won't stop coming, just like Pokemon. Zelda was great, and it still is, but the story feels like it's going to drag on and on, and there's no point in playing a franchise that never comes to a full closure. Shin Megami, and Fire Emblem are two titles I'm looking forward to, specifically Fire Embl...
O whoops, you are right, I think my mind we went over the first-party idea and concept.
