I'm an MGS fan, and I said no, i'm not going to buy it. Why? Because it feels like someone is trying to fool me. Regardless of Polygon's review, and their bad journalism from many people's standpoint, I cannot stand it when people try to make a fool of me, especially when someone says, O, you know, this game will easily last you 10 hours, o wait, did we say 10, we meant 1 hour and if you replay that 10 times, then that's 10 hours; right?
Well, according to Gribble, it most likely should be. Both MGS and GTA in a manner of speaking started out on PS consoles, and got great deal of money for not only remaining on PS consoles, but being very successful for it. Look at GTA SA, and GTA 3.
I'm actually waiting for the PC version, first time where I can say, ha, I actually get something on PC before a console :D. But truthfully, I hope all of the versions won't be too different from each other.
It's all bits my friend, it's all bits.
Even if it's not, I don't personally blame them, actually, I appreciate the fact they gave PC gamers a chance to have this fun. I do expect them to give a better port, of course, not everyone's game can be like Metal Gear Solid Revengeance's port.
What was wrong with the DRM the first time around? Wasn't it just GFWL, which has now been terminated?
The reason the first few titles are more so casual is because they're aimed at a very high audience mark. Meaning, games like infamous the last of us are supposed to bring in new people to play the game, understand them. Then you have hardcore games, such as Battlefield or for example, DOTA. Those games specifically cater to fans of either shooter, or fans who like pain and suffering; just kidding about the pain and suffering part :P.
Well he left for a different reason. He realized that his franchise, the one that he created/visioned kind of fell of the map in a matter of speaking, and that's Capcom to blame for the most part. Levine on the other had his dreams come true, and he succeeded in making something, but realized the thing he was truly good at couldn't be created with the things that he was already creating.
To be honest, I think I'm just going to read the summary of the game online, and maybe wait for a price drop for the game, or just wait until the PS5 comes out and buy the PS4 and the game at the same time. I feel this generation is really going towards the low end.
I hate to say it, but he signed his death warrant when he said it's ok to have a game that is 4 hours long, or something along those lines, or I think that might have been a PR representative, but it's still not ok to lie to your fans.
The thing I've noticed is that Kojima kind has gone the low end, and has become more of a PR for MGS, then actually a script writer/ director. To me, a programmer, I already assumed that Kojima was wrong. The reason why is, the Xbox 360 uses a architecture that's the same as a PC's, meaning programming might be easily, but that doesn't necessarily guarantee a game's going to look as good, since the architecture wasn't designed to be for gaming, it was designed to be co...
Wait, can someone explain to me how it proves Rockstar's greatness? The modders are doing the work, so that shows Rockstar is amazing, what?
Dude, no PC GAMER IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD DISAGREE. I mean, GFWL is literally the worst thing to come out, and so uncessary, it's like a DRM system within a DRM system, and that original DRM system never worked in the first place.
Actually, you're incorrect. The X1 architecture is more so similar to a normal pc's one, while the ps3 is not. I'm not entirely sure about the 360, but as far as I know, developing for the kinect isn't difficult, as some of the colleagues at my school programmed for it several times. I personally just think that Rockstar just didn't want to do a PC port, I mean, look at GTA 4, that game sucks without mods. It takes a hell of a good computer to run it at max, and it still d...
I'm actually surprised he isn't on the list, since Square Enix very much disagrees with the fact that he's not a great character. I mean the dude literally had a game based around him in order to explore his mysterious past, which I got to say, the gameplay sucked, and the story was not meant to be with the gameplay. However, besides that, his story was like 10x Clouds story and almost nearly at how insane Kefka was.
You know what the problem with Sazh was? The dude literally only had 10 minutes worth of emotions throughout the game. Hell, I think Gilgamesh from FF 5 made more of an impression than he did. Sazh showed up, did some fighting, made a few remarks, and then got captured and then I can't even recall what happened to him at the end, but that's literally no way for a FF character to have so little screen time.
I honestly don't get why Wakka was in this list. I was like, who's Wakka, o, right, the dude who had this weird accent and taught you how to play Blitzball, which I never played. :P
I really loved Gilgamesh within FF 5. The poor fool kept getting himself into a mess and getting his a** beaten over and over by Bartz. Also, ya, I agree, I get the feeling people really haven't played all of the Final Fantasy throughly, since the blonde chick whose name im forgetting within FF 6 is like years ahead of Lightning, especially after dooms day happens.
Umm, how can you be on the same boat as him :P. Also, have fun, the games are friggin amazing, I do however suggest that you skip portable ops+, that game is a waste of time.
Or they really just suck at making PC ports. Let's be honest, their only good PC port was MGS, and maybe Castlevania LOS and LOS 2, but I heard LOS 2 sucked on PC as compared to consoles, but that's only something I heard.
