I really had fun with the demo. IF the demo is any indication of what the final game is going to be like im going to get it. The tony hawk series has been stale for a years now, its good to shake things up a bit.
Like it or not reviews count for something. You cant disregard the the opinions of ppl who review games for a living, thats what they do, they know what they are talking about.
Why is it so hard to believe that a games is not as good as it was made out to be, it happens. Look at Blue Dragon, look at Crackdown and Saint Row, it happens. Stop crying.
I think what they are trying to say is that they both do not live up to the hype, both games have been games to watch for for PS3 owners since E3 05', and this is the best they can do? Now i'm not a expert on making games, but both these games have been in development for much longer then your typical game so the game(in theory) should be that much better then any other games out there, but their not. Solid games yes, but nothing that will blow your mind.
In the end not 85 like you originally stated.

Edit: Since when is gamerankings the last word on game averages? my statement is just as true as yours, I just got my info from another site (thats where I usually go). But in the end it doesn't change the fact that it is not averaging 85 as you said, its a better then average game.

That hasn't been true for a several of years now. Anybody who knows hockey will tell you that the 2k series is much more realistic the the arcade style play of EA hockey games.

Why would they assume they are announcing it for the 360 because of the release date for demo. One can easily assume that they are going to announce it for the PS3 counter the launch of HALO 3.
The most fun I have had with a game since the first Halo. No doubt about it. Granted things get a bit tedious at the beginning, but as you get more powerful by acquiring more plasmids and through weapon upgrades the game cranks it up a notch...big time. Unlike other games, the game is so rich in detail and design you wanna explore every inch of rapture, the effort the developers put into the game shows on every level. lol..ok, im willing to admit that some early screen grabs irked me a tad, but the recent ones are great. Still not on the same level of some games out there but close enough! But whatever in lacks in graphics it will surely make up in gameplay and good old fashion fun!
Now that is more like it. I never doubted that Halo 3 was going to turn out amazing. The two screens that stood out were the one with the skky/clouds as well as the water/waterfall screen. Good job bungie.
If you played it on insane. I always wonder how many ppl even play their games on the most difficult settings nowadays. Seems like most ppl just wanna rip right through a game just to see the ending, which I can totally understand. But IMO you get to experience the game as the developer truly intended when playing on the hardest setting, which usually leads to a better gaming experience.

This game is going to be good because it has to be. Sony has to much riding on it for it not to, they don't have any other option then to throw as much resources at Guerilla to use so that it can be the best game it can possibly be.
