I thought of that, but Bungie seems to have their own special plans for Bungie Day. So I don't think they want 343 to steal their thunder. It just doesn't make sense for MS not to have them there to show off Halo content, unless all this Halo:CE/Halo 4 talk that has been swirling around lately is complete BS.
343 is confirmed that they will not be making an appearance? Then how do you explain all the Halo related items on the banner? 343 has taken over all things "halo", so if they are not there, who will be showing the halo related content during the press conference?

The fear that the remake will lose whatever made the original game so special. To be honest I don't know how 343 will be able to recreate what Halo:CE did for gamers like it did when it came out back in the day. The game was so different from any other game that was out at that time, that anybody who played the game was left in awe. And it wasn't just the graphics(which were amazing at that time), every aspect of the game was top notch.
Agreed, Halo: CE is a very special game to a lot of people. I just hope they don't disappoint those fans, myself included.
Watching on you tube doesn't do the game justice. For all 360 owners download it on live so you can watch it on your HD set. The game looks amazing!
The footage at 0:44 to 0:48 is ridiculous... It looks real.
The main difference I can see is that the character models in the MW3 screens have less of the "shiny action figure" look to them.
We don't even know what this countdown is for yet, it might even be for H4. One thing is for sure, Halo:CE HD and Halo 4 are coming eventually and as a Halo fan (not just games but fiction) I'm very happy.
Don't buy it then, it's that simple. The millions of fans that do want this game will buy it.
Interesting indeed. But that brings up another question, if Halo 4 is to be revealed at E3 will it be released on the 360 or MS's next console. If the latter, that would be two "megaton" reveals at E3 for MS.
Played it through once, and that's it.

You really are lucky man, my launch console died pretty quick. Had to replace it 2 more times, gave that unit to my bro-in law. I picked up an "Elite", 3 years later so far so good.
He will most probably do a live demo showing all the new features (especially how Kinect is implemented) in the F4.
