While this article is interesting, I really hope that it is not entirely true in regards to the direction MS and Sony are taking the next gen consoles. One thing we can take from this generation is the fact that the gap in "horsepower" has become more apparent as the life-cycles of the consoles have gone on. If you read the article, you would of known the reason for Ryan leaving (apart from depression) was more of a personal view on how he wants to make games. He is moving away from multi million dollar projects to smaller, creatively inspiring projects. And you fail to forget that he did leave Kojima productions, and the last time I checked they are doing just fine.

Kinect was way more of a "risky/taking chances/trying new and unnattempted things/ route" for MS. They invested heavily into Kinect in the hope of it extending the life of the 360 and from current sales numbers it has worked.
This is what I got from the video:
-Facial reactions are much more animated/varied.
-Colors seem to be much more saturated.
-More shoulder sway while sprinting, looks more natural/fluid.
-Decreased muzzle flash.
-Guns sound like they have more "punch" to them.
-Decrease bullet "trace/smoke".
-Increased kickback with handgun.
I'll stick with my A40's
This screenshot alone has washed away any doubts I had about the game. The art style, the level of detail, the lighting, all add up to MC looking more bad@ss then ever.
