Absolutely. Just don't let Konami themselves remake it. Good god, I get cringe just thinking about it.

You hear that? Listen. That's the sound of "nobody" agreeing with you. lol

Certainly get a nice giggle when people regurgitate marketing buzzwords. "Ecosystem" "Experience"

It's not a console anymore, it's an ... "ecosystem". It's not a game anymore, it's an "experience".

Ah yes, the enlightenment of gobbling marketing drivel.

Protip: You bought a video game console that also plays some media. Not an ecosystem or anything more elaborate than that...

Story Mode + EA Japan SquareEnix = Forget It

Get used to it from these clowns. Anything made internally at SE anymore, will be heavily leaning towards GaaS with constant online garbage and endless "updates" and MTs. I use the word "updates" loosely.

You mean, they aren't already?

Uematsu must be splitting his sides laughing at the butchering of his classics. Good god those are sickeningly bad.

Must be a smash hit if SE, the EA of Japan, is giving anything away for free. More schlock for the FF "brand".

Yes, games cost lots of money to make, and global warming is a hoax, and all news that doesn't agree with Trump is "fake news".... any spoon fed drivel you want to recite?

The fact EA told shareholders that removing loot boxes from BF2 would have no impact on their projected earnings? That is ALL I need to see to decipher the truth. You believe everything you're told? Unreal.

Thank god for retro. This hobby has no future, unless you have cement between your ears.

This market needs to die again, and be reborn once more. The dissolution of pretty much ever "AAA" publisher would be such a boon for the medium.

Looks like it has some "Rare" charm, and that's a good start. Will continue to keep an eye on this one.

"...Nintendo’s all-conquering platform..."

I like the Switch as much as the next guy, but really.... "all-conquering" ? LOL Let's try and be serious here.

How generous of EA to hand out free 1's and 0's. As if these crates cost anything to produce. Too generous EA. Now get lost.

It's baffling that anyone has any faith in this whatsoever. This is SquareEnix. These guys couldn't make an appealing game of tic-tac-toe, much less remake this gem properly. I can't think of a single SquareEnix game, made internally over the past decade, that is worth a single crap.

Anything of value from this toilet in Japan, has come in the form of third-party development such as Bravely Default or Nier Automata and such, or from acquired studios, such...

And people still expect this company to treat RDR2 with ANY care whatsoever? Give your heads a shake folks.

"Are People Getting Too Sensitive?"

No need to answer that, as everyone obviously knows they are. If there is nothing to complain about in any given situation, people will fabricate things to be unhappy about these days.

Nothing to see here.

Excited huh? I'm sure they are. Excited to vacuum the wallets of the brain dead with MT's.

Right. I think Chess needs a battle royale mode too. Maybe even Hangman. Let's just put battle royale in everything. It's clearly the only feature that people want in any game of any kind.

Saturation? What's that?

The better question is. Do you "want" to ever see Skate 4, given the company that owns it? I'm thinking most would initially say "sure", but after a little thought, think "nah, nevermind."

2914d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'd rather not. I'm not about to invest with a company that will be dissolved by this time next year.
