Black Ops and Dead Space 2 are just using unreal 3 and some old call of duty engine... I think LBP2 can easily compete with that, you won't see better looking textures in those games.
I did get the impression LBP1 had a more clear and crisp picture though, probably because they piled on the effects and now the framerate or something takes a hit. Same could be said for Dead Space 1 and Modern Warfare, I hate late console lifes.
Is the crysis 2 demo unlocked now? I tried yesterday and it was still a gold exclusive... I don't have any other reason to log on, matchmaking sucks...
I'd just go there and buy the DS version now to get my fix...
I don't think games with hundreds of sequels are candidates to sell at absurd prices in the future. It has to be awesome obscure stuff.

Uhhg, look I even have a tab in the graphics card menu of my computer called "Scaling Options".. It is where I adjust the overscan and underscan of my TV, my resolution is 1920x1080, what do you think happens when I make the picture smaller... Do my pixels get smaller?

This is pretty badass, I hope they add some new features to cloning clyde. Since I already played the crap out of it. Glad I skipped Ancients of Ooga on 360 now though, gives me a chance to play online without a cruddy subscription.

The resolution of the PS3 screenshot is scaled down for the comparison, so it actually is pretty fair. Anyones guess how the psp2 version stacks up, but it looks like it could range from slightly worse to far worse "Wii" quality. Fine for a handheld I guess.

I wish there was something as sleek as psp2 running windows 7... I guess technology still has a ways to go before that can be pulled off soundly though. Then I'd need a second wish for them to actually produce a new Gears of War for it...

Dude, you've been playing games on the same engine for a decade. It has gotten to the point where source mods are as good or better than what Valve is churning out... and now they are charging for hats, like microsoft charges for avatar items... It is the ultimate fail.
Now that Bungie is with Activision, when they release their game on PC. I suggest you buy it, or be faced with the dilemma of being an utter douchebag.
Of course new engines running on new PC hardware is going to look better than ones optimised for old ps3.

I kinda like DOA better, probably because I suck at street fighter or enjoy the speed and rock/paper/scissors counter attacks... Also, DOA may have pioneered boob physics. Hopefully it hasn't been ruined since Itagaki left. I'm worried for this and Ninja Gaiden 3.
1080p would be nice for starters.
