I think unreal engine and technology have a few more years until people can fit 100 fully rendered gears(zombie) characters on screen at once with full physics and don't disappear.

Epic games gets too much slack for characters on steroids. It's all in the name of gameplay/atmosphere, how else would we tell their hands from their feet when they explode into giblets? It wouldn't be very easy to see or knock around with ingame physics.

Epic is a epic developer, but all their characters in unreal are generic as hell. Gears of War is closest they've come to good characters, and they just fit the part. Their idea of badass is acting like a highschool football player when killing things... I call shinanigans on them putting deep thought into bulletstorm characters, but I bet the gameplay is great.

There is a possibility, but all those 3rd party cash-ins you mentioned take time to make. Even if they lack originality, it going to be on a 2 screen 3d touch system that inspires originality. These games can't simply be ported to a vastly different system like PSP2 and I highly doubt the developers will dedicate that kind of time to each portable... It is just nintendo being the favored handheld with a flawless 20 year track record, and sony trying to build steam with their franchises ag...
They already made psp go, and those disc drives are pretty noisy. I'm pretty sure umd is a goner... Too bad when I sold my psp, I held onto metal slug anthology and castlevania chronicles. Aw heck, no I'm not, those games still amaze me that they exist.

Halo Reach should get shooter, I'll reserve my praise of anything battlefield until a cannon entry in the series that boasts 64 player online matches. But giving it to one of those yearly entries would be a slap in the face to the gaming industry, adam sessler should feel ashamed for having nba2k nominated goty.

I'd assume the new TVs have some kind of 3d motion enhancer effect, which may make anything look amazing. I keep the motion enhancer for my 120hz 2d TV off, because it may cause lag.
Maybe next gen will be the generation of lag with your display, online and controls. All lagging.
Lol, I've been playing the beta for killzone 3 and "more than enough" is more than correct. ;) I imagine the framerate takes an even bigger hit when played in 3D...
It looks like a poor flash game, this would be great if it could be played 4 players online because there is not a whole lot of flash games like that...yet. But I think that would be impossible, with the way the level has to load material and sackboys stay on the same screen.

Although, I have humiliated people in gears of war pc, especially after I tell them I'm using a controller and I've taken out most of their team the last few rounds. It is probably the lag though and the fact aimbots wouldn't be smart enough to take cover and blindfire...
Can't we just get a "kinect hacked to be used as a keyboard input" article and let it be. Isn't this almost like using motionjoy and xpadder, and saying you hacked each individual game to use a ps3 controller. Correct me if I'm wrong.

After Burner seems okay for $5, although it was that price on psn about 6 months ago and I didn't get it... I own everything else that's good for the arcade. I recommend Captain Smiley for 800. I'm curious to see what Red Dead is discounted to on the 21st, Bomberman Battlefest DLC should have been included with the game, and I hope Raskulls lives up to my expectations.
