The problem with GTA4 is that it absolutely required a quad core and was built around the console structure, which has a waaay better processor than graphics card. However, it still looked like crap and ran at 20 fps on consoles. The pc version was always better, better looking than most pc games released now...
Just a few grumpy people that play Crysis maxed out with their core2duo and monsterous graphics card making a huge stink. The engine just wasnt built that way.
People have been trolling Rare for years, even when they're pumping out the most polished games on Xbox. If Rare goes down, it is because the market is shallow and only interested in recycled trash.
I'm glad, especially when the game is 32+ players. Now when loads of chaos is going on and your all a fluster, at least you know your a sammich making class and needed in the kitchen.
Battlefield 3 should have been there.
Look on the bright side, without those pesky effects you'll be able to run it on a lower spec PC... Censored or netbook friendly? Lol.
Is it me or does Crysis 1 look better than that in DX9... Must not be maxed or all those corridor environments are really hurting the overall detail.
@SJPFTW I read "Leaked Crysis 2 world's first PC screens will blow your mind", which wouldn't be true if the former 3 year old game looks better.

Yeah, the button prompts in DCUO kind of struck me as odd too on PC. It would be like if when sega defected to other consoles they'd prompt for their own dreamcast controller that doesn't exist...
Motion Joy does exist though, maybe Sony should make it official since Xinput is as universal a PC controller is going to get.
I don't know how the series made it this far either, it has a somewhat interesting story and that's the main reason I've played through both to completion. The game is just not very polished though, and it always ends in a cluster... Like a LittleBigPlanet level falling apart at the seams.

It is kind of sad to see the series get stale and boring. It is the closest thing 360 has to zelda. They just havn't been cloning zelda properly.
Why is EA store only relevant in Europe? They get all the deals.
I played it on XP and Windows 7 and didn't have this problem. However I did encounter certain irritations...
1. the game NEEDS to be installed on the C:\ or have a shortcut placed in the root of that directory.
2. wireless 360 controller isn't really supported.
These are 2 things I'd expect to actually get patched, but I guess the usermade fixes are good enough for Capcom.
I agree, why hasn't gamefreak bought an assload of employees and made a real masterpiece yet...
Snap isn't bad though, just the only pokemon game for home consoles worth noting...
This would be cooler if it was a revival of the old SNES game, it should have been a traditional fighting game between beast and humans can turn the tables on the battlefield in favor of their god.
They are going to F it up, aren't they? It has the most dynamic gore in any game, they rip into pieces and those pieces have physics...
It is as good as any other telltale game, and I think it does the BTTF series justice.
I'm kind of getting upset at journalist for mentioning MW3 alongside Battlefield 3, it doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence. Dice worked hard on BF3 the past few years, MW3 is something slopped together in a year and nobody knows who is making it...
OMG I just had a thought!!! Jizzness! There is another reason people hate you Kran... I don't think anyone wouldn't like the option of 3D or Move.
