so, just 5 years more and he finally releases his game ;) (just joking)
Let's hope that everything we've seen was just the base PS4 version and not the pro version already.
lol, now IGN is biased... well normally it is accused of beeing biased when they give a Sony game a high score, or a MS game a low score.
It seems they just not covering your taste.
The >95 Scores are from really not so good sites or newspapers. Cut those high-scores >95 and the low scores and you get a good average score. That's totally ok. Jimquisition gave the game a 6.5 and even this is not bad at all.
Btw, the IGN review states, in this game...
so, sleeping dogs isn't available in Germany (only for xbox 360). Well if they give anything else here, we'll get 3 xbox one games next month. Because you can "buy" those free titles by changing your country in the xbox configuration, buy the "free" titel and change it back.
Don't know why so many people are suprised by those facts?
well it would be nice if they added a 7200er HDD in the PS4 Pro, but those are to big for the form-factor, I guess.
But anyway, if you want to saturate SATA2 you need a SSD. shorts bursts of HDD-cache is not very helpfull, expect for benchmarks.
There are other parts in the console that limits the full load-speed of HDDs/SSDs in the console. e.g. encryption. It needs time to decrypt the data from the dis...
It is also free for the PC via ubisoft club or whatever they call their download client.
Well counting the dev-time for the shield tablet, ... well if 100 engineers work 1 year, you have 100 years of dev time (one week = 8hours * 5 days)
Let it be Mass Effect 2 & 3, please :)
I guess it could also be FF13, because of the incoming launch of FF 15
I don't understand those people, too.
If you don't want to use Windows 10, use windows 7,8, xp, Macos or linux if you want. But don't expect MS will support those (windows-)OSs forever.
Every MacOs oder iOS support is way shorter than the windows support. You even could not install newer MacOS updates on older machines (like 5 years old machines). If you don't want it, use something else.
MS is still a company that must make money (as every...
premium price for a premium console.
sony did just an interation where the costs were the same as on ps4 release. so they could charge the same price. therefore the is no UHD drive in there. MS just want's a premium console for the market. and when I look at the surface department, they can do this.
But I really hope the price is not to high. I'm expecting 499. And I really hope it is as quite as the xbox one (or maybe the cooling solution is even better)
yes. Just played AC1 on my xb1 last weekend.
It aged quite well, but the gameplay mechanics are .. well more complicated than the current AC games ^^
It happens quite often, that the character jumps from buildings because you just wanted to get down like you do in the AC syndicate ^^
Actually it should be totally free, because you buy it for 0€. You don't need to buy those free weekend titels. Those you can just download... well at least this it how it was in the past.
No, because in a care you are actually moving. This is just the normal simulator sickness.
But this game is one of those, the occulus makers warned about. If it isn't made good, many customers won't be interessted in VR anymore.
Seems like they invested more time in the demo (which the reviewers could play) than the final game.
It is outsold already, so this should be reached relativ easily. I know many people who preordered it, just to sell it for a higher price on release.
But I still don't think it will go higher than Kinect 1 (19m lifetime sales). Most will wait for PSVR 2.0 on PS5 or something like that.
@chrish1990
sry, should have written "negative" ;) an 8 for NMS was for many people negative because it was such an overhyped game that many many people (yes "even" here on n4g) expected an 11 of 10 ... you know what I mean ;)
well, actually we had the same situation with NMS 2 month ago. Someone made a negative article with the prerelease version and somehow no one believed him ... actually he was correct and the "day 0 patch" didn't change anything meaningfull so it would be a "whole other experience".
But yeah, I think you're right.
Well bloodborne would get a 70 from me, too, but only because I don't like this kind of game. But then, I wouldn't have reviewed it, if I know I don't like the genre.
Forza Horizon 2 got some bad reviews because it wasn't a sim-racer and it was a open-world racer. That are strange arguments for a "professional" reviewer.
Same goes for Uncharted. I personally did never get into the uncharted-games, but still saw, that normally it would be a good game...
No, that's just not true. nvidia GPUs have other strenghts, yes but nothing more. AMDs GPUs are more depending on optimized code than nvidias. If you optimize your core for GCN and optimize your code for nvidia, they are on par, but it really depends on what features you are using.
Yep, this this no FF, it is just another game-type SquareEnix tries to sell via the FF franchise.
After all those changes to the original fight system, there is nothing left of FF. It is now just another action rpg.
And the demos didn't impress me ether. Graphic standards were high, but there was nothing in the demo did fit with another thing (just my opinion). I missed the love for details in the demo. The world just feeled so empty.
As far as I know, polaris already does that, too.
What's the big deal about half-precision calculation? Nothing really new here.
It doesn't work at all, because it is just faked. There is no HDR on base PS4, at least not HDR10. All you can get is wide color gamut ... well that's included since PS3 ....
