Well, not really suprising.
A unity-based games looks better on the faster console ...
But hey, this is just a budget game, so it is a nice improvement.
But the newest patch made it really playable for me. Loading times are much much shorter now. Also HDR (xb1s) makes are huge difference.
And still the worst Final Fantasy but now in glorious 4k ...
Where is the "we added the story"-patch ....
Yes, it was downgraded. But that the normal dev cycle. First we get to see previews of what the developers want to realize, than we get what was possible to deliver on the platform.
Also the first videos were promoted for the "PS4" now the GC2017 videos are made on the PS4 Pro ...
You can clearly see that some textures (face and hands) have notable lost details.
Still looks great.
no, jaguar is very efficient for it's power target. bigger cpu would mean, higher price for the apu, higher power-consumption (for the cpu-part) bigger cooling solution, bigger form-factor.
The xbox one x is right now the maximum you could squeeze into the $500 price (including taxes, controller, ....)
btw, the switch-cpu is really crap ... so cpu seems not to be that relevant anymore as more and more is outsourced to the GPU.
A nice way to see how many players (in percent) reached something you can look at the xbox achievements.
I was surprised that only 80% got the first achievement (that you get right after the prologue) and at the next automatic achievement it was even lower.
And I'm one of the players who have not defeated the boss, yet. But that's because it is (in my opinion) the worst mainline FF. I will play through it (someday) but only because I hope it get's bette...
well PS4 sales also dropped significant before the PS4 pro launch.
Also, many want to sell their old console on ebay a few month before the launch
Well I really hope I've got one.
Amazon: canceled the next day because I was for vacation in another country and a security-feature automatically cancled my order the next day ... reorder was not possible because it was already outsold
computeruniverse ... preordered, was automatically canceled (the next day) because they can't use the payment method I selected for such high amounts (500€ in a computer store ... why the heck you then allow me to select this payment m...
The switch s no longer sold out. At least in Europe you can get a switch e.g. at amazon.de since almost 2month with same day delivery. It only seems to be sold out in the US.Nintendo doesn't give you 'sold to customers' numbers, only 'sold to market' that's a big difference.
Yeah, like Shin-Zantetsuken wrote, Nintendo just "undelivered" to the market like always. A shortage of consoles was expected if there are not enough consoles to sell in a whole quarter.
Even xb1 sold more (well it was around xmas ^^).
By now, mostly zelda & nintendo fans bought and (and still will buy it). We will only see this in the future if the switch is really that success like some articles want to tell us.
3m. That means there are < 2m switch-owners? (nintendo sold more breath of the wild copies for the switch than actual hardware in the first month)
There are 1m to WiiU owners that bought this game. so, only 2m Switch(es) out there?
Seems like nintendo underdelivered the console in a "big" way. I always though nintendo delivered 2m consoles at launch, but that doesn't fit with those sales.
Also don't forget, GT6 was a recylced GT5. This was the only way polyphony could launch the game so "fast" after GT5. The GT5 development cycle was just to much. I don't want to know how high the costs were.
No, it won't. There are enough fanboys arround writing those articles. ;)
But I really don't get it why a racer must have that many cars. In the "good" old times you were happy if a racer had 30 cars. Nowadays it's just to much.
Many Vita & 3ds games are not excluse, as they count every tiny game, most titels are also available on PC.
But well there are plenty of "big" (A, AA, AAA) console/handheld exclusives on those platforms.
Froza Horizon 2, Tomb raider, ...
still many games came out for xbox 360 after xb1 launch. The system has not been forgotten like PS3, PSVita, PSP (not even PSNow streaming anymore).
Well they did that with PS3. Only GT6 came out after PS4 launch. but that was just a try to get a bit more money from the GT5 development.
Yes it will. But maybe not if next gen will launch way later than some expect. ~2022 than it could get a bit cheaper. Xbox one X is a technical masterpiece with that price tag. Even the next processing step won't make that big difference.
Yes it can be faster at that time in a lower made with a better process, but for next gen it should be really really faster, at least 4x as fast as xbox one x and that will be really hard.
Well actually it's not selling like hotcakes (everywhere available in Germany), instead nintendo ist just underdelivering like always when they launch new hardware.
But while it still sells good, there is nothing wrong (for nintendo) to make the production a bit cheaper. Other (most times cheaper) components maybe a better battery, ...
It just makes it more profitable.
It's a beta noch de demo. If they bought the game to get into the beta, it's their own fault.
I bought it on xbo, but the problem with FF15 is, it's just a bad Final Fantasy game. As I mentioned before in different posts, I'm a fan of the series, but they killed FF for me since FFX-2. And FFX was already really a backstep.
Well xbox one x costs more, so no they won't reach PS4 Pro numbers. Also MS won't produce so many units so the demand is there even after the holidays.
1m Xbox one x consoles sounds right for a "mid-cycle console upgrade launch".
