I have played the previous installments, but as this review was solely based on GRAW2 I decided not to base it on the original Ghost Recon games which I played on ps2.
While multiplayer can be fun at times (I do enjoy the realism of almost one shot kills depending on what gun it is and what not)
Usually the games I enter end up being fragfests of grenade launchers which may have led to the lag I experienced and possible bias because it can be pretty annoying when few games ...
n4user, the guy is just stating a simple opinion... he's not writing about RROD or spewing console war vocab... so there shouldn't be any reason for you to post almost a mini-fact sheet about why the Xbox 360 version is superior etc etc...
Is there really a need to give him a lecture on why he (OR ANYONE else for that matter) should heed your opinion? As valid as it may be... please stop spamming this subliminal messaging if you will...

Wageslave, I'm not trying to be a fanboy or anything... but isn't having a repair in the first place a hassle?
I'm not saying that the ps3 doesn't have to be repaired or replaced, I'm just saying that with all the RROD videos from youtube, claims of RROD, pictures of RROD from gaming events, that there is a bigger possibility of repair needed for the xbox 360? And thus... leading to a bigger possibility of hassle?

But... any idea on when the full Socom will be out rather than just Confrontation? I've always liked going through the campaigns for some reason?? Because if anything, Socom (not confrontation) will probably be a bigger hit than confrontation

- for the AI in haze, would you say that it gives the AI in Uncharted (demo or full game) a run for it's money as the AI in what I've played of uncharted shows some pretty decent AI
- is there any way to tell how much nectar you're taking in? Can you run out of nectar entirely?
I'm on it as well even though I'm Canadian.. not sure if that counts, but I am pleased to say I'm not one of those people with negative points! =) but only 1260 points... need to play more warhawk, but I'm working on Ratchet FTOD at the moment!
EDIT: I'm not sure what my rank is, but I'm usually playing on unranked server games, but whatever, I have a hard time getting into all the full games as it is!

From what I gather on prologue, there is a long loading time for online, but no lag what so ever, it was from an ign or gamespot preview, i'll check up on that later, as for xbox live, I have no idea tbh as I don't have a 360, but I would say either the people ur playing are close, or just have fast connections ( which is a benefit for p2p) I'm not sure whether or not Infinity ward uses dedicated servers(it might be Infinity Wards problems seeing as all my other online games run with out a hi...
The simply biggest factor into disconnection and lag and what not, is always and will always be your own connection, and every other players' for that matter.
For p2p play it all depends on the hosts connection, maybe u struck lucky on people with pretty good connections, that might lead to the reason of less lag.
As for ps3 I have warhawk, resistance, and cod4
warhawk- no lag at all, just brilliant gameplay
resistance- same no lag
cod4- occa...
