I agree with both Fishy and Dark General, the addition of offline modes that help teach people, and the updated features of Warhawk make it a truly fantastic online game.
That being said, I won't be playing CoD4 anytime soon, having finished everything, except prestige I'd rather wait for an update from IF for something or they give out the map pack for free.
and by the way you guys, feel free to add me on PSN if you want, I play weekends only, now with summer over, ...
I'd buy both versions, but to be honest, a real-life auger would cause me to instantly pre-order and stand outside my best buy or eb games to get it. Shame the hailstorm (i think this is the name, i think I forgot though) would've been cooler, yet real life size? No, the hailstorm would be the biggest a$$ replica of a fictional gun ever to be purchased by the consumer on a wide scale.
But don't deny that would be awesome!

There is only a Ps3 version being sold in Japan, which means, in essentially all scenarios bar an apocalyptic one, Ps3 sales will be larger. Those Japanese gamers really like their (J)RPGs
Not to mention that, but since the Japanese PS3 version is coming first, before Square Enix does localization work on the (rest of the world's) PS3 version, and making a version for the 360, Ps3 sales are guaranteed to be higher initially if not all the way ...
I won't get into an argument on what games are the best fighting series, as I'd say I'm relatively new to the scene of gaming, but of the fighting games I've played, I've found Tekken to be pretty easy to get into. (Probably because of my countless hours playing Tekken: Dark Resurrection on my psp.)
@ thekiller
the only problem I find with your argument on the 'new' gameplay, is that a fighting game, or any game in a particular genre, has to keep some of the core mec...
Very very nice. I'm really looking forward to the final product in February. But on topic with the video, is it just me, or are those chums on the intruders (hover/aircraft/transport)at 1:11 always the most unluckiest sods ever? They always get blown up after having a chat.
Sucks to be them I suppose. XD
from what I know, there is no split screen right now... I need to go look for the source, but I think Guerilla mentioned that they will try to incorporate it by launch.
Sweet.
'nuff said.
Though working Lancers (life sized or action-figured) would be sweeter!
XD
I want to get in on this Home Beta!
@ Viper aka 1.4 isn't that guy in mortal kombat or some tv show along those lines? But other than that, I don't get it either. =/
Last time I viewed a preview of The Agency by Sony Online Entertainment, the producer referred to the game as an Online Persistent Shooter, OPS which judging from this article bout Huxley, is almost the same thing. I for one an interesting in how both of these are going to turn out.
Game-on!
Good read, that being said, if any game has a good story, I'm willing to try it.
But let's say games did take a big slant on religion, I can see it now:
"Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction -> Missionaries: Playground of Conversion"
XD
w00ts! Time to get the game... for just bout $50 CAD, that should be worth it!
I'll find it hard to believe if that gamer girl sight that gave mgs4 a 6 can give uncharted 2 anything lower than an 8.5+, for reasons like drake is the main character etc etc, (they won't be able to resist drake on the updated naughty dog engine!) ; )
Now, to get myself a copy of the original uncharted to play through when I'm finally on vacation late august!
Butterfinger, salutations XP
From a related article by Dave Wales, he talked about there being some sort of carnival setting which featured a bunch of side missions that don't really progress or add to the story, but are more like practise sessions, and replay moments. That being said, ps blog confirmed the trophy support, so if you want to wait to pick it up, and want to raise your PSN lvl metre, I'd probably wait for the Ps3 version
*facepalm*
Haven't you been reading the comments? Haven't you even read the article from yesterday detailing, only people that are qualified and approved by Media Molecule may have the opportunity to charge money???
So that takes out your argument for 'joe' gamer levels man, sharing is still a core part of the LBP, but by presenting an incentive of gaining money for a work of art of something really epic, say the entire Metal Gear Solid Sage LBP levels, that are good, and m...
Thanks! and bubbles! didn't notice that at first!
I would think the aerial thing is one of the badges abilities, to summon air support from a fire support drone. But damn... does anyone have any idea about snipers? When I looked at the source for the multiplayer info on KZ2 i didn't see anything related to sniping.
I want to know as well, I felt pretty stupid when I went around all morning after 2.40 debut trying all my games to see if they had an update for trophies, but ended up playing a bit of Warhawk in the end. But as they said with the trophies being retroactive, at least some of them, brings me a fair amount of comfort! Incognito really know how to support their game. Kudos to you Incognito!
Hoping for trophy patches soon!
I'd suggest that you post that on the forum or send an email to IW with the link of this story as well if you want anything done about this.
That being said, I was looking forward to going through Cod4 again just for trophies, but alas, I guess I'll just use that money on something that is well supported no? Like Superstardust HD, or maybe even Burnout: Paradise ?
Heres to patches soon, I've got a game collection to replay through, and lack of Trophies are stopping m...
The new 007 game is being developed by Treyarch, but, because Treyarch is using the call of duty 4 engine for both CoD 5 and the James Bond game, they may need help from Infinity Ward, but I'd doubt it would take the entire Tech Group from IW to work on modifying the engines to fit the James Bond game's 3d takedown sequences.

I have no idea what the fudge happene...
damn... These guys made some of the most enjoyable RTS I've played...
Age of Empires Series, and Age of Mythology was one of my favs, I hope this isn't true, as Support for an RTS after launch is usually very important...
Best of luck to the guys at Ensemble Studios if this is true!
