Pretty good stuff insomniac! I see they're bringing forth more story, which is good! If anything, this and everything else in Resistance 2 makes it extremely worth the $70 including tax.

The guys that make custom firmware, and emulators will definitely get a kick out of the touchscreen capabilities, think about it... you could get a PSP2 or whatever it could be called, and get to play ds games as efficiently as on DS! Or at least have it a more natural conversion from the DS without having to use 'joystick' on the PSP. There are already DS emulators, but they're pretty slow, so if they manage to make the emulators more efficient by using a touchscreen, the potential can be qu...

I wouldn't put it as the beginning of the end, I'd put it more along the lines of what Winston once said "This is not the beginning of the end, but the end of the beginning." With stellar games still coming up and lots of new features, tech and other things implemented into games we've got plenty to look forward too.

As far as I am, aware, Sony purposefully restricts different 'parts' if you will of their gaming hardware. The Linux users on ps3 have often asked that the full specs and/or associated files/software/code related to the RSX be released so they can work with the RSX on whatever they want to do in Linux. (homebrew is included, so that may be a reason it's restricted in linux)

It's mainly because a lot of us are lazy gits who don't want the hassle and it could be human nature that we don't want to go to a website that may be down for the longest f!@#ing time just to play online, but it depends, I'm pretty much in the clear as I have a konami ID from the Beta... just this does make it a hassle for the people that are finally getting into MGO or MGS4 etc etc.

I find it sort of weird to say the least, a First Person Shooter being compared to a Third Person Shooter and vice versa

I agree with the list, except i think the 8500 gt and 2600 pro should switch spots... tv tuner card (8500 gt) compared to a multipurpose card for viewing hd video and light to medium gaming (2600pro), the 2600 pro should come up on top

Edit: It does come up on top, my 2600pro beats out my dads media pc with an 8500 gt on the company of heroes demo

I'm not a fanboy, but don't you feel you're over-reacting to this article? Sony, hasn't hyped the titles or whatever they are in this article, it's the interviewee that has hyped it, and while Sony may have hyped Killzone 2, it sure seems they're living up to the promises and with 9 months to go... well I think Sony is trying to go above those promises...
