I lovr my Wii U and it is capable of porting next gen games to it but its architecture is so different from.the other two cobsoles that it takes too much time amd money, as you pointed out, to make a decent third party port.
Hopefully I am finished with Xeno X, Witcher 3, and Final Fantasy 15 before this game hits. Anyone believe I can do it? I dont. Lol.
You own an ouya dont you?
I agree. Look at the bright side. In two to three years from now you will be able to sell your copy for as much if not more than you paid for it like the one for Wii and so many other Nintendo exsclusives.
Obviously this author didnt play Nintendoland, supermario 3D World, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Wonderful 101, Wii Sports Club, Batman Arkham City, Lego City Undercover, Zombi U, Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, Legend of Zelda Windwaker HD, uWordsmith, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Rayman Legends, Mario Party 10, Pikmin 3, New Super Mario Bros Wii U multiplayer, or has seen how project Guard and project Robot and Star Fox will use the Gamepad as well. Hate it when authors act like the gamepad has n...
The DSI released a year after the DS, 3DS a year after DSI, and now NEW 3DS only a year or so after 3DS XL. If this is set to release holiday season 2016 that puts it right on line with the timeline of handheld releases. Oddly enough it also puts it in an acceptable timeline of a new home console. Since usually Nintendo releases a new home console every 5 to 6 years, Wii being the acception.
So the fact that this release is dangerously close to when new handheld and home console...
Lol fanboy fantasies? Then you talk like that about xbox. Good luck finding an orriginal xbox exclusive that still costs as much as Super Mario Sunshine. What a goon.
Edit: i would like to point out that at no time did i say the Wii U was some successful powerhouse of gaming sales and wow numbers like the PS4. I merely stated that this years games will help it be profitable and that in several years I will be selling my games for it at almost the same price I paid for them li...
And while the sequel may be more popular on the next system I will be able to sell this game at its orriginal price 6 years from now because of the outstanding quality and resale value of Nintendo exsclusives. The market contradicts itself so much it is funny. Gamecube didnt have great sales due to gimicky disc size and yet its exsclusives still sell for over 30 and 40 bucks over a decade later, some for more. Several Wii exsclusives sell for close to what they were upon release and the Wii U...
I agree. Just look back at the actual games made by Nintendo for the GC, Wii, and soon to be Wii U and they hold their value more than any other franchise in gaming right now. Don't believe me? Look up Super Mario Sunshine for GC on amazon or ebay right now. It is selling for more than when it was new. Wii games Mario galaxy and Mario galaxy 2 are still 25 or 30 bucks. This system has the same quality of exclusives as the last two Nintendo systems and a few years from now I will be gettin...
Maybe a hint or announcement of a new Metroid game even? A lot more Devil's Third gameplay footage as well? More information on the new mobile platform introduced and I have a feeling there might be something Mario in the making. It is his 30th anniversary after all and a HUGE Mario game announcement from nowhere after over 2 years since 3D World released wouldn't surprise me either.
Either way we are getting Star Fox, Splatoon, Yoshi's Wooly World, Xenoblade X, ...
Another sorry list of crappy "sale" priced items. A couple prices here are ok but hardly anything worth entertaining.
It is supposed to a mobile type of interfacing console or something. There is a chance this isnt even a replacement to the wii u amd rather a new evolution of mobile gaming that can also hook up to a TV. That woukd mean Wii U will be around for at least two more years with more games to come.
F.E.A.R was one that stuck with me. Also the very first Silent Hill. That was the first true horror game I played and it scared the crap out of me. That fog, lack of music, and ghost children running through that bloody school house. I will never forget it.
@Dragonknight
Metroid and Legend of Zelda are not and never were intended to be childrens games. Just because a game can be played in front of a 5 year old without giving him nightmares does not make it a childs game.
Sad for you. Now you will missout on a 5th game for free, Multiplayer issues are all pretty much fixed and works well, and a free month of Xbox live. perhaps you were a bit rash for trading it in? I believe so.
I can't wait to play it. Mine should be here from Amazon on the day of it's release. I have a couple days off of work for Spring break and this will be where my time goes.
This game is going to be a huge addition to the Wii U line up and I have a feeling that it will actually move some systems along with it. It will definitely get people in the mood for buying a Wii U so they can enjoy Xeno X, Devils Third, Star Fox and Legend of Zelda all this year. Also there are really good deals on games for the Wii U that those newcomers may not have played already and there are still bundles. Good times for Nintendo fans.
Still love this game and the multiplayer is actually pretty fun. Good competitive mode with a buddy.
Even though there were issues this bundle has incredible value and has been played by myself and friends for countless hours. The ability to play Local co op and or lan Halo 2 remastered and play co op online with a buddy in all 4 games is worth the 60 bucks alone, IMO.
@iamnsuperman
If people arent buying Nintendo consoles for Third party then why dont all the winey cry babies shut up about Nintendos lack of third party support?
The fact we are still having a conversation about the thurd party issue would point to people wanting to buy a Ninte do console if it did have thurd party support.
I will correct your statement for you. It should have said "people are not buying a Nintendo for half assed crapp...
