Many critics scores were impacted by the "failings", thus the game (GOW) got many 9/10 instead of 10/10.
The same can't be stated for games like RDR 2.
They probably scroll down thru game reviewers article, just to see the score and use some BS quote from it, while negating any critique it got...
This is also the critics fault, not only for R* games but for certain other game developers games. The score should not be influenced by the reputation of the company's past/present, or even by the possibility of fanatic outcry.
Glad you said that, so far God Of War has won most of the GOTY-s from those other publications.
Also on slighlty unrelated matter, it would seem that Game Awards doesn't matter anymore to certain people after this year? lol

There is still the issues of PS4 PRO blurriness, non-existant HDR, bugs and glitches, and some immersion/game-breaking ones like the missing camp members...heck some people put the game on pause because of that last part.The worst part is, the bug itself is easy to get.
