More hardware sales = more software support. That's just the way the world works.
Titanfall - Okay
WATCH_DOGS - Good, but not great.
Destiny - Above average
These games may have been over-hyped, but this is what happens when games are heavily marketed. People need to keep leveled expectations.
Nintendo's IP's are universally accepted that is why the 3DS doesn't need western support to sell well.
"The PlayStation 4 isn't selling in Japan currently because there is lack of appealing games to the Japanese audience." That same argument can be applied to the PS Vita though it's reversed. The PS Vita sells well in Japan, but it doesn't sell well in the West. The reason why is because it doesn't have games that appeal to western audiences. This is the only "REAL" issue with the PS Vita. Outside of Indies what type of western support does it have? Not much...
The word you would be looking for is "jaded."
MGSV, Dragon Quest Heroes, Final Fantasy XV/Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Persona 5, Tekken 7, Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Silent Hills, The Evil Within, Bloodborne, etc..
Japanese gaming is looking like it's finally ready to hit back hard on consoles after last generation being dominated by mostly western developers.
Can't wait to NOT play this. Thanks a lot SEGA.....
Oh yeah! totally forgot about that. I feel like an idiot because I actually have KH2.5 pre-ordered lol.
Just because it's an Action RPG doesn't mean that it's any less of a Final Fantasy game. Should we consider FFVII not a real FF game because it had a timed based battle system? That ideology is very moronic imho.
Same here.
Really wish they would release a PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Vesperia in the west.
Not to mention multiplats like Evolve & The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? Man, February is going to be amazing.
Wait a minute... Sony is releasing Bloodborne & The Order: 1886 in the same month?
Actually when it comes to their entertainment divisions they're thriving. Music, Movies & Video games, but their other divisions are what is hindering them. In their Mobile division they're only selling certain product through certain retailers unlike their competition which limits peoples ability to buy their products. TV division is the main one that is hurting Sony, due to the fact that it hasn't made profit in almost 10 years.
It's so beautiful...
Just because the battle system is changing, that doesn't mean that FF Type-0 & FFXV are any less of a Final Fantasy game as the old ones. Any fan of Final Fantasy knows that the series has been through a pretty rough time in recent years, maybe a change would be good for the series.
@Melankolis When the older games have been proven to have way better gameplay than the stupid reboot, sorry you can't chalk that up to nostalgia. Not Happening....
@AceBlazer you clearly didn't read the part where he said had "The best combat." Yeah key word "COMBAT."
@Onentyle I going to assume you've never played DMC4 otherwise you wouldn't make a such a statement. Please point me in the direction where dante was able to ...
It's worth noting that goodwill impairment is not as bad as actual losses (in terms of ongoing business). It's not CASH related. For example, if you have a company making 50m profit a year and you have your brand valued at 100m, then something happens and your brand is worth zero. You'll take a 100m goodwill impairment, so you'll make a loss of 50m that year, but you've actually got 50m coming through the doors to pay staff etc. It obviously affects stock price and it can ...
Just as long as it's not first person. Personally I would prefer a third person perspective.
If it isn't Nintendo or PlayStation, then FF is not at home.
