You wouldn't have to investigate if you just put it on the damn disc. What they should of did is just make it an unlockable scenario for beating the game on hard mode or something along those lines. Though of course this is the rip you off generation, not the PS2 generation.
Nintendo isn't really the type of company to acquire gaming companies. The only company they ever acquired was Monolith Soft. Nintendo skipped out on Rare, Atlus and even Capcom.
Also before anyone mentions Retro Studios, Retro was created by Nintendo & Jeff Spangenberg. Not acquired....

Honestly I think both Assassin's Creed Rogue & Far Cry 4 are getting delayed. I don't think Ubisoft is really that stupid to release two AAA Assassin's Creed games on the same day along with Far Cry 4 the week after.
Best case scenario: Far Cry 4 gets delayed into January where the only competition is Dying Light. Assassin's Creed Rogue gets retooled for next gen consoles only or released as a cross gen game.
I see people collecting these rather than actually utilizing them in games.

It's really not fair because consumers chose the more capable machine for games that took advantage of that machines capabilities, why should they be penalized because others chose the less capable machine? This applies to PC as well because on the PC side Ubisoft has really been screwing up.
I'm pretty sure it's considered a grammatical error, not a spelling error. No word on the back of the box is misspelled.
