A lot of the BF3 hype comes from the Gameplay trailers and the word-of-mouth from the Alpha trial and Demo's at E3, Gamescom, and PAX. People have played this game and are very stoked to get more of it.

Get over yourself. Call of Duty hasn't done anything new in years. It will surely (slowly) lose it's fan base. Multiplayer in all CoD games consists of tiny ass maps. The Co-op modes are heinous and laughable. (READ COPY AND PASTE) Half their DLC have been maps that are RE SKINNED from previous iterations. Call of duty only has a Single Player rail shooter campaign, heavily scripted AI. The Co-Op is nothing short of lazy development.

Battlefield 3 has more content, better graphics, better sound, destructible enviornments, larger-scale battles, Co-op, Singleplayer, TDM, Infantry Only, Battlelog, Dedicated Servers across all platforms. BF3 already won in terms of Quality and Quantity. MW3 will win the hearts and minds of the sheep; the malnourished- and prepubescent teens. I'd rather they stay away, i don't want them on my team. They don't understand the concept of teamwork.
Battlefield is not the same year after year. Call of Duty CERTAINLY is. All Call of Duty did was "innovate" kill streaks. A lot of their weapons, throwing knives, symtex nades, C-130, were MODS before other installments came a long and were stolen from the community mmmkay.
How is Battlefield the same year after year? Battlefield 2 came out in 2005. Facts. Learn them.
