No, almost not a single boss can be mashed to death by spamming 1 button without rings.
I've played through the game 4 times. First 2 to get Platinum, then again to just enjoy the ride.

Then a 4th time to see how far I get with spamming 1 button. That wasn't far at all.

Let me know how far you actually get by just spamming square without the rings, and I'll call out your lies if necessary.

SquareEnix doesn't disagree. The games they've released on Playstation has sold well enough, except Forspoken. It's the mobile division, and non Playstation games that is losing money.

And you are the Redfall fan?

Without handicap rings, in Normal difficulty, you did not.

And everyone who had to pretend this didn't sell on Playstation....

And in my friendlist, there is over 30 playing it actively.
What does that tell us, absolutely nothing. You have friends on your friendlist that doesn't play jrpgs probably, while most of my friends are in their early 40s and grew up with Final Fantasy.

Rebirth will most likely be a success story, and I'm almost certain it'll sell the same, if not more than Remake

Even better on Hard Mode. Then Hell House becomes a "raid boss".

Hard Mode and some VR Battles in Rebirth is even better. This Platinum will be a real challenge

@Alos88.
FFXV didn't even stand for 10% of the sales on Xbox compared to Playstation.

@porkChop
Crisis Core has nothing to do with Remake.
It's a prequel to Final Fantasy VII, which is available on Xbox, but that didn't sell either.

712d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Just admit you have not played Rebirth, if you compare it's open world with FFXV.

90 hours in, still have some way to go, and that's before taking on the post game content.
Loving every second, and even with extremely high expectations, the game surpass those time after time.

This will probably end up as the best game ever for me, taking down Final Fantasy VII and Ocarina of Time from the top.

If Call of Duty would come out physically with all data on it, that would be 6-7 discs on Xbox (3 discs on Playstation).
If Rebirth would ever come on Xbox, it would be 4 discs.

It's just a 150gb game, lots of games are larger, but all content is not on the discs.

713d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

You haven't played games on Multiple discs for 20 years I hear.

Nowadays (since many years back), games are fully installed on the console.

Every 'extra' disc is just data discs (which needs to be installed before you can play the game) and then there is one Play disc.
The Play disc reads the license, and the rest is already installed on your console.

I agree, but have many friends who chose Rebirth as their first Final Fantasy experience, and they all think the game is a blast and a great story.

The recap both before the game, and within the game is actually good enough for people who skipped OG, Crisis Core, Ever Crisis, Advent Childen, Dirge of Cerberus, The novellas, Ttaces of Two Pasts and Remake.

@CrimsonWings69
As you got Platinum in both Like a Dragon games, you should know that no guide is needed.
The Platinum is extremely straight forward, just a bit grindy.
Like a Dragon because you "need" to max out some jobs before you can take on Final Tower, and Infinite Wealth because you need to level loke mad, slowly if you didn't get the DLC (which I didn't).

Even so, they didn't take close to 150, not for me, and probabl...

@CrimsonWingd69

The 2 jrpgs in "Yakuza", which is Like a Dragon and Infinite Wealth, is not near 150 hours for Platinum.

100% the games however, then yes, due to the difficulty in many of the sidegames.

Took me 104 hours with Like a Dragon and 99 hours with Infinite Wealth.

@olMyerslo

It's not an articke about Sony nor Microsoft. It's about Final Fantasy VII Rebirth from SquareEnix.
You were the one who had to find something bad to say about PSStore.

Far from most.
I've Platinumed over 100 jrpgs, and only 1 took me around 150 hours, which was Persona 5.

What more jrpgs do you have in mind, takes that long?

However, I doubt Rebirth will take 150 hours either.
Some reviewers who completed all on normal/dynamic said around 100 hours, theb put Hard Mode on top of that.
My guess Hard Mode would a much quicker run, as you don't need to do the side activites.

You do know that the shovelware with easy GS exist on Xbox as well, right?
Nothing unique to Sony.

Don't look at them as minigames then. They are a part of the main quest.
